Earlier this week we popped into the Diane von Furstenberg showroom to see all of the amazing accessories arriving soon (we have a huge spring look for you all coming tomorrow). DvF continues to nudge her way into the competitive handbag market effortlessly, bringing fresh designs that are grabbing attention.

The bag that introduced DvF into the handbag spotlight is the Stephanie, which is still one of my favorite bags I own. I own the original version, which is heavy and large. But the design and aesthetic of this bag is so amazing that the weight doesn’t bother me. And for those of you that love the look of the Stephanie but care about the weight of your bag, the newer versions have the same amazing woven technique while weighing a fraction of the original.

Above you can see me with my DvF Stephanie bag trying to stay dry! Shop DvF via ShopBop!

That is a beautiful bag! But it seems a bit too large. This would be perfect if it came in a smaller size.

Great pic, too!

Do you ever double the strap so the bag isn’t as long?

I looks like you could use that bag as a boat if it rained too much.

Love the Stephanie! I have been meaning to get one ever since I saw it for the first time, but other bags have clouded my view. Slouchy bags with shoulder straps are great when it rains and you have to hold an umbrella. Those ladies who hold a bag in hand plus coffee plus a phone plus an umbrella and make it work, total admiration from me.
