How is it working out? I looked at this bag and strongly considered it. I just didn’t know if the leather would wear well. I ended up choosing what seemed like a smaller nod to this bag – the mini vanity bag from the same collection. I LOVE this bag!! I think it is stunning and it carries so beautifully.

The proportion LxH seems to be quite close to the Loewe Amazona model and we all know after 50 years from that release about the pros and cons of those proportions. There are some cons that this model will inherit using those proportions. Amazona uniqueness is the flexibility. It makes the handbag to move and change in volume. It is like a dance as you walk with the bag on your shoulders. It seems that this new model from YSL is very rigid. For me between an original design and a variation, I prefer an original. I would love to see that the luxury brands are trying to offer something original but we should keep on waiting.
