The Prada Mules Fashion Girls Can’t Stop Talking About

And I finally got my hands on them...

Every once in a while, an item catches your eye that you never even knew you wanted, but suddenly, you need it, and that’s precisely what happened when Prada’s Satin Mules made their way from the Spring 2024 runway and onto my radar. Instant obsession.

Once the idea of owning them entered my mind, I couldn’t let it go, and the internet wouldn’t let me forget either. Day after, I was reminded of their existence, either by a targeted ad or a fashion girl I follow who also couldn’t seem to forget about the simple but chic, square-toed kitten heel mule.

Each time, I got the same pang of infatuation, and I finally decided to visit Prada just to see them, of course. That was two weeks ago, and the gorgeous baby blue box, complete with a navy ribbon, has been sitting neatly on my couch ever since.

Sure, a girl can dream, but she can also throw her hands in the air and succumb to her obsession. Just saying.

Spring Fling

Shown on the runway alongside the rest of the Spring 2024 collection, the satin mules are quintessentially Prada in the best possible way.

The shape is not new for the House, and neither is their fabrication. However, the 35mm architectural heel, shaped like the Prada triangle, is completely modern, offering that classic yet contemporary feel. This unique detail sold them for me in the end, and once I tried them on, I knew I would be leaving with them.

These mules are the epitome of chic, the kind of shoes that instantly make it look like you have your life together (we won’t tell if you don’t).

The colors are stunning in person and so tempting!
Prada Green Kitten Heels

Arriving in four colors: black, brown, green, and orange, I went in with brown in mind. I almost pulled the trigger on the orange but ended up leaving with classic black.

There have been some nice days in New York so far, but I’m waiting for the right time (and place!) to take my lovely ladies out for a cha-cha. I will report back on their comfort, but walking around in-store felt manageable, thanks to their small heel.

I can’t wait to wear these with everything from jeans and tees for an effortlessly cool daytime look to more dressed-up outfits for nights out this spring and summer. Purchase via Neiman Marcus for $1,150.
