If you’ve been following along with the World Cup, either ours or the real one, it’s probably been an exciting week for you. If you’d like to show your pride in your country via the acquisition of a very expensive handbag, then it just got a little more exciting: a capsule collection of Charlotte Olympia World Cup Pandora Clutches has just been announced.
The clutches match up designer Charlotte Dellal’s signature clear box clutches with interior pouches that feature the national flags of seven of the larger World Cup participants: Argentina, France, England, Italy, Germany, the USA and host country Brazil. Unfortunately for England fans (which presumably includes Dellal, who is British), their team was eliminated before the clutches became available for pre-order.
For everyone else, customers can order the clutches in person at Charlotte Olympia’s boutiques in New York City, London, Miami, Beverly Hill and Hong Kong, where they’ll cost $1,195. The brand promises to deliver them by July 4, in time for the quarterfinals.
