There has been a ton of buzz surrounding Pharrell’s taking the helm at Louis Vuitton Men’s. While it will take him a few more seasons to settle into his large role and see what he creates, I’ve liked what he’s done so far. For his first Pre-Fall collection, we have a collection that embodies coastal energy and the Maison’s penchant for travel.
Louis Vuitton as a brand shines when the bags are still entirely recognizable as part of the House while clearly being seasonal iterations that will not be created again. In a new setup, one that I welcome, Louis Vuitton opened pre-orders for its pre-fall 24 men’s collections, which will help ensure you get a bag (or any other item) if you want one.
Some bags are already showing as sold out; however, I assume new additions will be added when the collection is officially on sale on May 23rd. I really like this collection—again, living in South Florida year-round, it speaks to me and the climate—but it is incredibly fun and lighthearted for summer dressing.
This collection is infused with summer elements, from materials to beach prints. The little crab pouch, available in four colors, might be my favorite.
I love those Tommy Bahama inspired design but I rather buy similar products from Tommy Bahama( probably better quality and cheaper 😂)
I can’t unsee it now 😅
ghastly take if ever there was one
The shopper would look a million times better if it wasn’t disfigured by the contrasting brand name lettering.
I love the shopper – it would be interesting to see the brand name in a different hue, I could see that being cool. Most brands do the stark black against natural however!
If they removed the big LOUIS VUITTON, it would look way more elegant and chic. Or maybe keep the brand name but in the same color as the bag.
I’m going to Paris soon. Can I get LV cheaper there compared to Bangkok?
