Because I know we have so many Louis Vuitton fanatics around here, I couldn’t resist posting these first looks at the Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 ad campaign. If you followed our coverage of the Vuitton runway show a few months ago, you probably could have guessed how this campaign would look – pale, precious and ever so sweet. The brand tapped Steven Meisel to shoot Daria Strokous and Kati Nescher in the world’s most luxurious ice cream shop, and the result fit the mood of the clothing and accessories perfectly. Loving the pastels – for some reason LV clothes always look better in the ads than even on the runways or red carpet. But for sure this puts me in the mood for some spring time warmth so hurry up and be over winter!
I’m not generally a fan of LV, but the girls in this campaign are a breath of fresh air – classy, and feminine without being impractically fragile, much unlike that of last season’s. Bravo Marc Jacobs!

Love the Louis V and the stores have the best windows of anyone on a continuous basis. Somehow I never really like the Marc Jacobs lines, but the LV is superb.
