While you may just be kicking off your summer plans and travel, Loewe has pre-fall on its mind (more specifically, on its website). The brand is also in the midst of celebrating the decade anniversary of the infamous Puzzle Bag, and plenty of summer options are available now with the coveted Paula’s Ibiza collection, but pre-fall is sitting front and center as well.
This means rich tones, the same luscious leather, and more landscape-inspired layers and gradients of colors. It is always hard to narrow down what I love most from the brand, but if you are an excellent planner thinking of your fall wardrobe, these are the four bags I am most drawn to.
The Stunning Ola Bag
We’ve already covered this bag (we even deemed it a new icon), and I can tell you that it is even more stunning in person. The bag combines structure with fluidity and femininity in a way that allows the bag to stand out. While I understand there is only so much you can do with a handbag shape, I am forever appreciative of Loewe pushing the boundary to offer a bag that is still practical but also stunning.
The Loewe Ola bag is crafted from soft and lightweight calfskin and features the statement Loewe donut chain, which I like to think of as a jewelry piece. The tubular calfskin strap and the donut chain are removable, so you can choose how to carry the bag, and the interior is opened by a flap closure to show one interior pocket.
An Artistic Landscape-Inspired Flamenco
The Flamenco has forever been one of my favorite bags. At my core, I am a casual lover, someone who you’ll find in jeans and a t-shirt more often than anything else. I love that the Flamenco aligns with my vibe. It can be dressed up, but it is quite simple in theory, yet the way the drawstring knot and nappa leather combine makes it more interesting than you’d assume.

This version, well, this one is interesting without those details. The Nappa calfskin and suede combo layers together in a gradient of Earth-inspired hues to compress and overlap to form a one-of-a-kind effect.
New Puzzles
The Puzzle has solidified its place in handbag history, surpassing ten years of success and adoration with countless updates and renditions.

Two of the latest options are part of the Loewe Pre-Fall 25 collection, including one with a large buckle across the front of the bag, denoting its nod to Biker detailing.
The other is called the Featherweight Puzzle, which is a lighter, smooshier (yep, not even sure that is officially a word but in this case, it needs to be utilized), and overall more slouchy appeal.
Each of these bags offers the same classic touches that come with the Puzzle, including the geometric lines and shape, along with modern updates.
The Ola bag is gorgeous!
The leather looks supple and rich. The biker bag is my fave. Can’t wait to get one pre-owned because $4900 is steep!
Putting a belt on the Puzzle bag is one of the dumbest design decisions I’ve seen in a long time. It wouldn’t even provide structure to that part of the bag because it doesn’t fold in the way the top part does.
Lol so dramatic
I actually just bought the puzzle biker buckle in the Boston store and it actually does provide some support and structure. You can loosen or tighten it, if desired. But truthfully, I just thought it was a nest accent and twist without being too over the top!
I wish we had pictures of the interiors too. For that much at the very least they should be leather lined.
