Your First Look at Loewe Paula’s Ibiza 2025

Known worldwide as an epicenter of music, fashion, partying, and fun, Ibiza was also once home to a little shop called Paula’s Boutique. Long before it was the fashionable haunt it is today, in the 70s and 80s, Ibiza was a destination for the hippies of the word.

Paula’s Boutique, which opened its doors in 1972, was the Island’s go-to for beach and beach-club-ready wares. It was a hotspot for Ibiza’s most fashionable inhabitants, filled with beachwear and bohemian dresses, Paula’s had everything one needed to nail the fashionable Island-life aesthetic.

Though Paula’s would go on to close its doors at the end of the 20th century, its legend would live on, and over 15 years later, a new generation of fans would get to experience the lore of Paula’s Ibiza, all thanks to Loewe’s Jonathan Anderson.

Anderson, who had grown up vacationing in Ibiza, heard stories of the iconic boutique and reached out to Armin Heinemann, Paula’s founder. The duo united to create a co-branded collection that first launched in the summer of 2017. It was aptly dubbed Loewe’s Paula’s Ibiza.

Year after year, the special summer capsule delights, and this season, it’s back. Given Anderson’s departure from Loewe, this could be the last collection from Loewe Paula’s Ibiza, which was brought to life under Anderson’s helm.

An Endless Summer Vibe

The collection is meant to ooze an endless summer vibe—summer is not just a season; it’s a feeling; it’s a certain energy. This is conveyed with every Loewe Paula’s Ibiza, and the 2025 collection is no different. Designed to be mixed and matched, an eclectic set of ready-to-wear pieces is presented alongside bags and accessories.

Pieces are easy to wear with an elevated appeal. Fabrics are light and flowy in prints that ooze an island vibe. Textures and embellishments throughout add a tactile element to the collection, which also features knits with lace details.

Over the years, Loewe Paula’s Ibiza denim pieces have been some of the most coveted of the collection, and this year, they return for both men and women in pastel hues and patterned sets. A playful range of T-shirts enlivens the Grateful Dead’s iconic prints, paying homage to the beloved rock band.

As for the bags, Loewe lovers will delight in the collection’s newness. Classics like the Puzzle and Puzzle Fold Tote appear in seasonal iterations alongside new raffia bags like the Ola. An ode to Loewe’s craftsmanship, which has been at the forefront of Anderson’s Loewe, the intricate wavy shape of the Ola bag is crafted using traditional techniques.

The iconic basket bag gets a bit of a make-under with the new Punch Hole basket, cleanly trimmed with raw leather handles that are adjustable; it’s made with chunky braids. A hobo iteration of the Punch Hole basket has a leather patch pocket. A range of other enticing accessories is also presented like fower-adorned sunglasses and beaded bucket hats.

Elsewhere, Loewe Paula’s Ibiza introduces a mini version of the new Featherlight Puzzle, while basket bags and pouches are enlivened with garden-inspired bag charms.
