With just the right amount of structure and slouch, the Loewe Pebble Bucket was the star of the show when it debuted on Loewe’s Men’s runway last year, later making a splash during the Spring 2024 womenswear show as well.
Given its name, thanks to the distinct Pebble Anagram hardware that stands out on the otherwise simple silhouette, the Pebble Bucket has what it takes to become Loewe’s next big hit. Of course, by now, we know that nearly everything Jonathon Anderson touches turns to gold, so as we enter the beginning of fashion month, this bag is likely to shine.
While big bags are so clearly back in fashion, offering an instant aura of cool, many of us are still in our Mini bag era. If the original debut of the Pebble Bucket didn’t strike a chord with you, you’ll want to check out the newly introduced mini version.
A Look at the Mini Pebble Bucket Bag
The Pebble combines boldness with minimalism—a strong silhouette with clean lines makes a statement. Finished with the signature engraved Anagram hardware acting as a dramatic design detail and a functional closure, the adjustable strap allows for hand carry or shoulder wear with a simple twist of the button.
Finished with a slim, longer strap for crossbody wear, the adorable, shrunken-down original version is lined in suede and features an open construction. There is one interior card slit pocket, and the overall dimensions of this tiny but mighty carryall are 7.7″ L x 6.3″ W x 6.3″ D.
Arriving in an array of colors like neutrals plus fun, seasonal pops of golden yellow and vivid orange, the price is $2,400 via Loewe.
Hello, Picotin wannabe?
Nothing to do with it… The Picotin is soft and without a long handle or the Pebble button. It is a type of sac bag but it has nothing to do with the outside or inside.
I’m not mad at the price.
How to choose a color, though?
