I practically am having to drag myself away from the 80+ moving boxes to look at my computer. Oh, hello PurseBlog, I have missed you. And you know what else I have missed? Checking out every new bag hitting the online world. You would think after over five years of writing about bags I would be sick of it, but that is not the case.
There wasn’t much new showing up on my favorite website haunts (obviously aside from the fabulous bags going down the runway at Milan Fashion Week right now). But I did find a little gem from Jimmy Choo. And I am liking what I am seeing. The Jimmy Choo Alina is quite simple but somehow drawing me in.
There is something very familiar about this design (a mixture of Alexander Wang and Givenchy maybe?). It is a no fuss bag. The overall look is nothing short of plain, but plain in a way that is not overly boring. And that task is hard to complete. The tote features thick grainy leather and there is a snake skin panel that helps add an eye-catching touch to the front of the bag. A clever addition is an internal pocket that is accessible without opening the bag (which would easily come in handy).
Some may look at this bag and see three B’s: big, black, and bland. But I see beautiful. Everyone needs a great black bag in their wardrobe and this would be a great handbag staple. As shown above, look how amazing it pairs with leopard heels. Buy via Jimmy Choo for $1895.
This bag is sooo me! I want it but alas, not at that price.
I really like it. Usually I purchase the staple Ramona Bag, but recently Choo seems to be doing more new styles and I’d consider this.
I think I personally like the shoes better than the bag.
I don’t like, normally, the Choo’s bag but in this case I’m so impressione from it…It’s the model more fashion now: the medium sixe bag with the leather “martellata” (i don’t know the translation in english…) I think that a lot of fashionists will use it!!

The leather definitely says “Wang”. The bag is ok, but the shoes are really nice!!! Does anybody know wether Choo comes true to size or rather small? Thank you in advance for information!
Welcome back, Megs! I am loving the Jimmy Choo Alina…it’s sexy and simple.
I love the shoes. They caught my attention before the bag did.
The bag is okay. I am not really a fan of pebbled leather. A smooth finish in a bold color is more my speed.
The SHOES!! My god, the shoes!
(What? Is there a bag in the photo? Why yes, it looks as if there is.)
I. Need. Those. Shoes.
Inspired by Wang.
Oh-My-Good-ness!
As my kids would say, Those shoes and that handbag are “off the chain!! ‘Translation! Fabulous!! :0) I’m ‘likeing’ you on facebook, and following on Twitter. ‘conVo_Info’
I am a bigger fan of the shoes, they are so eye-catching! The bag is pretty as well, it’s just overshadowed by the shoes in these particular pictures.
wow. i like it. but not feelin’ the price tag!
I, too, am in love with those leopard shoes. The bag’s ok, but the shoes are so gorgeous!
I LOVE how the pebble in this leather is so big and fat!! Looks like it would be squishy 😛 (ipad)
shoes! shoes! gimme them shoes!
oh soooo sexy!!
err.. we are talking about shoes, right?

gorgeous bag…i’m not a big choo bag fan, but this is a keeper. haven’t seen it out yet though, where is it? will have to get my shopper on it… (ipad)
I think the shoes are more eye-catching here. (ipad)
