Introducing: The Emily Bag By The Kooples

The Kooples collabs with one uber-famous Emily to make one super-fun bag

Over the summer, I heard that The Kooples was releasing a line of handbags designed by model and social media superstar Emily Ratajowski, or @emrata, as you may know her on Instagram. I’ve always loved The Kooples for their effortlessly cool pieces and downtown vibe, and if you’re looking for a person who fits the same mold, model/muse Emily Ratajowski is your girl. The French label approached Emily to collaborate on a handbag collection, and here we have it: the result. The Emily Bag is a structured leather piece with an adjustable shoulder strap and glimmering gold hardware. I am obsessed with the mini for a great day-to-night bag and the medium for a classic everyday bag.

The Emily Bag is made in Italy, and at a price point of under $500 for each the mini and the medium, this is a bag that I truly want in my closet! It’s well-made yet affordable, and stylish yet classic. I adore it in the mini size, and I would seriously love to snag it in—surprise, surprise—black! Both bags are gusseted and expand to fit everything you might need for the day, and both sizes have an internal zippered pocket, a cut out back pocket as well as a small front pocket. Overall dimensions of the mini are 6″ H x 8″ L X 3 D, which retails for $375 via Bloomingdales. Overall dimensions of the medium are 6.6″ H x 10.5″ L X 3 D, which retails for $445 via Bloomingdales. Check out more photos below and shop the entire Kooples collection . We love sharing new bags with you and wanna know: would you wear it?
