Gucci continues its transition with Sabato De Sarno at the helm, and the brand’s new vision can be seen. Gucci is getting its footing, leaving me with that giddy excitement that brought me to the brand decades ago.
De Sarno continues to pull from the archives to refresh House emblems and silhouettes. While Gucci Spring 2025 showcased much of this, we also loved to see what people carried to the show, and the fashion crowd brought the good Gucci goods.
Gucci Bags In The Wild
One fan-favorite bag is the new Gucci Milano Top Handle, which features extra volume with its puffed leather and GG logo embossing. It is available in the now iconic Gucci Ancora Rosa and bright green leather, which appears to be a new prominent color for the house and is seen in the Spring 2025 collection, too.
We also saw the new B Bag, which gives me a throwback vibe to the Gucci Horsebit Shoulder Bag, make its appearance. This bag has all the right kinds of archival touches.
The Blondie was the other bag we saw most prominently, and again, leave it to Gucci to perfect the look of old meets new. I love this bag for many reasons, and seeing it carried on others only furthers my adoration.
We also saw the classic Jackie, which was carried by many attendees, including Jessica Chastain. Sure, I’ll get my Jackie out of my closet to emulate her style any day of the week.
Overall, the Gucci collection on the runway was strong, but so were the looks of the people attending the show. This was the most beautiful and relatable feeling I’ve had for Gucci in a few years, and that fashion-loving side of my heart is happy to see it.

I am truly a Gucci fan, clothes, shoes, and bags.
I absolutely loved this blog post! It’s so interesting to see how branded bags combine fashion and function. The insights on the craftsmanship behind each piece really highlight why they’re worth the investment. I’m particularly intrigued by the sustainability practices some brands are adopting. Can’t wait to see how this evolves in the future! Thanks for sharing!
The Milano bag looks quite small, maybe large enough to hold a phone but retails at $3500? It boggles the mind!
love that burgundy is having a moment
I love the blondies. And that suede is darn good.
Love the Jackie! Time to get my blue ostrich one out of the closet 🙂
The Milano bag is very appealing but just too small. I hope they also offer it in a bigger size. Generally, I wish we’d see more medium sized bags and not so many that are either huge or tiny. The suede Blondie is about the right size — I need to check that one out (and these new Blondies are so different from own, which is basically a Disco).
I did some pricing on Gucci’s web site. The medium sized light brown suede Blondie that I like (and will mostly likely purchase) is $4200, plus tax if applicable. The Swiss price is 3240 Swiss francs, which is about $3820 — a $400 savings. The euro price for the bag is 3300 euros, roughly $3700. Sadly, that burgundy/deep red Milano bag is only available in the mini size, no medium size. Price in euros is 2750, $3590 in the U.S. Both bags are already available for order.
