When it comes to luxury brands, an air of rarity and exclusivity kind of comes with the territory, but few brands continue to uphold the level of exclusivity and elusiveness that Goyard does. In fact, if you’re not a client of the brand or if you don’t spend enough time on the internet, you’ll easily miss the latest in Goyard news.
That news is exactly what we’re here to report on today, as Goyard’s newest bag continues to generate buzz online thanks to its distinct, on-trend shape and classic yet youthful edge.
Yes, I’m talking about the new Goyard Bonbonnière bag.
Meet the Goyard Bonbonnière
Inspired by a bag from the archives, the Saint Martin bag, the Bonbonnière is both understated and bold, with its elongated east-west shape. Its silhouette is part baguette-like, but also feels like a more angular take on a barrel bag, offering on-trend appeal, while the classic Goyardine canvas adds timelessness, cementing the bag’s staying power.

The Bonbonnière’s shape is further emphasized by its elongated handles, allowing the bag to be worn comfortably over the shoulder or hand-carried. While its shape is modern and refined, the Bonbonnière tells a unique story, paying homage to the Goyard archives while nodding to its Parisian roots; its name is inspired by a typical Parisian apartment—small and cozy, yet refined. Bonbonnière also translates to “Candy Box” in French.
Goyard is one of the greats—it’s the oldest leather goods maker still in business, and I’ve always wanted to add a piece from the Maison to my collection. As someone who loves color, the vast array of options has always enticed me, and I’ve toyed with the idea of adding an orange or green document pouch to my rotation for the last few years.
Colors, Details, and Pricing
Still, it’s been quite some time since I’ve been drawn to a Goyard bag, but the Bonbonnière, which continues to generate buzz online, really feels like me. I’ve been favoring shoulder bags over almost every shape in the last couple of years, and this one is the ideal size for transitioning from day to night.
One side features an exaggerated zipper, allowing the top to be opened all the way up, while the other side features a discreet debossed logo. The Bonbonnière debuts in neutral Goyardine and pop colors like blue, yellow, orange, and green. The price is $3,040. Thoughts?

“paying homage to the Goyard archives while nodding to its Parisian roots”
What in the name of press-release-AI-word-salad is this nonsense?
Nah, I’m good. will sit this one out.
Dido, I’ll sit this one out also.
Never saw the appeal. Looks cheap
Same. Goyard has had some designs and colors I really liked… but they’ve always looked like cheap plastic.
Like the shape. Would get tired of the print very quickly: that Goyard print looks good on a tote. but it looks gimmicky on a dressy handbag. Would only buy this bag if I was in the income bracket to buy multiple designer purses per year (or per month- a girl can dream.)
I just do not get why anyone wants to spend the money they want for Goyard?
Agree these bags are getting more pricey but the quality is nolonger there
Hard pass.
alaia’s replica?
Nope, this bag’s gusseted end allows for it to open much larger. The bag is taller and more malleable. The shoulder strap allows for it to be worn multiple ways. It is NOT stiff pencil case like the ALAIA. The durability of this bag aka GOYARD canvas material allows one to carry it & enjoy the process versus worry about keeping it perfect for the next owner. The colors pop. Younger generations enjoy the logo and the prestige/cool vibes it gives. GOYARD lets you live and enjoy ur bag. Keep hating. Happy 2026.
I’m 23 and I think Goyard is tacky AF.
So is the name Melinda
Sounds like your problem!
Let’s start over, and I’m sry. GOYARD is not beloved by every young person (that’s loud & clear) and thats cool. I’m merely defending a bag that is a great shape, long lasting and functional. I happen to like the print, my hubby doesn’t, my brother doesn’t, my friend does, etc so I’m very open to know what bags are cool, good, beloved- in all honesty what bag or brands do you love right now? Again-sry.
It reminds me of the LV Papillon.
Chokehold? That’s funny!
Goyard has done it again. Their latest bag is everywhere on social media, and it’s easy to see why—timeless design, luxury craftsmanship, and that instantly recognizable aesthetic. It perfectly blends exclusivity with modern trend culture, making it a must-have for fashion lovers and influencers alike. This bag isn’t just an accessory; it’s a statement piece that defines quiet luxury in the digital age.
AI much?
In Spain without any Goyard store. Most of bags are bought in street markets. So, when I see a Goyard bag I always think it’s fake.
Goyard has a beautiful boutique in Milano. Love this bag!
Milano Is not in Spain 🙏
My Goyard tote is my absolute favorite bag. I’ve had it for years and when it was showing wear I had it ‘refurbished” at the Handbag Doctor in Las Vegas. The durability of the bag is amazing because I carry it everyday until I get sick of carrying it. Its ubiquitous to me and Im always surprised when people look my 7 year old bag with something akin to envy. It’s just a handbag and I didn’t pay thousands for it.Would love to buy another Goyard but the price!@##
Why?
Omg what’s that?
