Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye, and with Thanksgiving ten days away, the holiday shopping season is about to hit overdrive. While getting the right holiday gift for everyone on your list can add extra stress, it’s always nice to sit down and remember that the holiday season means so much more.
I’m looking forward to family gatherings, catching up with friends, a trip uptown to the Rockefeller tree, hot chocolate by my parent’s fireplace, and so much more. I haven’t started shopping yet *makes a mental note*, but that doesn’t mean I don’t already have a running list of things I would love to see under the tree this year.
And while I’m definitely not quite ready to say hello to 2025 (please, don’t remind me!), what I am always ready to do is share some gifting inspiration with you!
12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
To no one’s surprise, Alaïa’s Le Teckel bag is on the top of my wishlist, but truthfully, I wouldn’t say no to its Le Couer bag either. I love everything Alaïa is doing now, and I would like to add an Alaïa bag to my rotation next year.
I’ve wanted a nameplate or initial necklace, and this adorable one by Allison Lou caught my eye a few months ago in a sponsored Instagram story (I have to admit!). The roped chain comes in a few colors, but I would probably opt for black, and I love what a statement this makes!
I used to own a couple of denim shirts, but they were more fitted, and the shape felt outdated, so I donated them during a closet purge. I like the oversized fit of this one, and the Western stitched detail adds a subtle touch of something different.
I need some new lip colors, and when I say new, I mean in general. I’ve never been a big makeup or lippie girl, but I want to be. I like that this gift set is a 3-in-1, but I also need a new makeup pouch for my purse!
This one should need no explanation because I’ve been eyeing this bag for years!
I saw this Farm Rio set earlier this fall and immediately sent it to my mom, who always asks me what I want for Christmas. This set is ideal for a cozy but put-together look that you can also wear as separates. I’d style it with ballet flats but would also throw on the pants with sneakers, a long-sleeve tee, and a puffer for running around town.
Early in 2023, I invested in a pair of Celine chunky loafers, and almost two years later, I still have zero regrets. While I love them and wear them often, they are more trendy than classic, and they don’t style well with as many outfits as I’d like. It’s time to add a classic pair into the mix, and Gucci’s Horsebit loafers are as classic as they come.
A belt, similar to a bag, is an excellent investment because it’s an accessory you can wear multiple times a week. Also, a belt instantly ups the chic factor of a simple jeans and sweater look. I love the gold details on this one.
This is cute, and I simply must have it. In all seriousness, I love the idea of the charm trend, but only if it’s carefully curated and unique to you. I fell in love with the Teddy Charms on set for our Prada holiday shoot, and I know it would put a smile on my face to look down and see it hanging off any of my bags.
Like bags, I’m always collecting sneakers, and the purple hues in this pair are so very me.
It’s not winter in New York if I don’t add a new coat to my closet. This one offers a fun twist on the cozy shearling trend, and I am obsessed!
