Launching at the intersection of a global pandemic, a social justice movement and a world that would be forever changed, Savette has seen incredible success in the four years since making its debut.
The brainchild of designer Amy Zurek, Savette’s bags boast a minimalist approach with a focus on clean lines and sleek design elements. Launching back in 2020 with just three styles, the line has since expanded, quickly becoming a favorite of style stars, celebrities and industry insiders alike.
Void of any garish logos or overt branding, Savette’s bags do the talking, embracing quiet luxury before quiet luxury was even a thing—very if you know, you know.
Sculptural Appeal
Launching as part of Savette’s debut collection, the Symmetry Pochette has become a staple of the brand, featuring its Symmetry turn-lock, which is evocative of sculptures seen in modern art. Its lines are clean and geometrical—incredibly pared down and sleek, it’s elegant in all of its simplicity.
Speaking of simplicity, each bag’s pared-down lines allow its quality to shine. The bags are crafted just outside the Italian city of Florence, an area known for its craft and attention to traditional leatherwork. They are made by hand, with an exceptional focus on the details.
What I love about the Symmetry Pochette is its distinctly feminine appeal, which offers a bit of an edge thanks to its distinct hardware. I keep returning to it season after season, and its quickly becoming one of my handbag Roman Empires (and I’m not the only one).
Offered in leather as well, its suede iterations are the ones that entice me most as we inch closer to fall. There is also a longer east/west iteration that’s reminiscent of the Bottega Veneta Andiamo Clutch, which has become one of the year’s most talked-about bags.
Where Savette really shines is its under-the-radar appeal, available at a price point that is still somewhat more accessible. Shop the Savette Symmetry Pochette via Neiman Marcus and discover more of the brand’s offerings via Savette.com.

I brought one in brown suede last year and I have no regrets! It is sleek and stylish. I can’t explain it but I feel like a “cool girl” when I carry the bag 😂 While the bag is relatively small it fits a lot. The price has already gone up and it is just going to keep going up. The popularity of the bag has been steadily rising so get it before it gets too expensive!
Agree – the design is quite striking in its simplicity, and I would even go so far as to say it is timeless. But I keep hearing about issues with the clasp – how it’s a bit wonky/lopsided. Hopefully it was just a bad batch and it does not go the way of some contemporary designers – steady increase in popularity/demand equals steady increase in price but decreasing level of quality.
Reminds me of Hunting Season but with the additional hardware.
