One thing I wish I did when Millie was born is purchase some accessories that were specially made by designers to celebrate her birth year—2016 was Year of the Monkey. Fendi is celebrating the Chinese New Year and the start of the Year of the Dog with an exclusive capsule collection and a fun video. With many of the items in red, a color special to Chinese culture that symbolizes good fortune and joy, Fendi created some of its most loved items in bold red hues and new designs, including the coveted mini Kan I Bag and a limited edition Bag Bug.
The scalloped edges on the small Fendi Kan I are stunning and further accentuated by studs in shades of pink. I kept stopping the video to check it out, and was happy to see the bag is available for pre-order online now for $2,100. There’s a few small leather goods in red with LOVE spelled out in studs, like this flat clutch and this continental wallet with a chain. Another fun item is this Teen Witches bag charm that has dangling metal legs.
