While I don’t share every clothing collection shown during fashion week season, Vlad and I love to share the bags attendees carry to the shows. This New York Fashion Week Vlad and I decided to stay in Florida (where it’s warm and we don’t have to de-thaw every 5 minutes), but we did want to give you a taste of the bags being carried to the show. We worked with our photographer in New York to snap some of the best bags caught outside of the (very cold) shows to share with you.
If you’re interested in additional fashion week coverage we have a roundup of the best celeb bags from our photo agency along with our favorite bags that went down the runways of NYFW. Here are photos of some of the best bags we spotted outside New York Fashion Week!
What brand is the # 8 picture
Faure le Page is older then Goyard – since 1717 actually. Exclusive and quite under the radar.
It’s Fauré le Page; they have quite a similar aesthetic to Goyard.
I was so looking forward to “The Best Bags Of NYFW Fall 2016 Street Style” and am a bit disappointed that it is just one feature and not one per day as you did in the past. Anyway, such a great post with many nice bags and it is a pleasure to scroll through all of the slides. Thank you!
We know it’s a favorite feature, wee will be back at it next season, just weren’t able to this time! Sorry!
Reed Krakoff, the bags were around for a while and then disappeared. Did the brand go out of business? Love the Chanel and that Valentino is very pretty!
Reed Krakoff went out of business. His bags – the original designs, rendered in faux leather – are now being sold at Kohl’s.
by no means is Reed done… he’s just getting started
Pretty much, as far as I remember . Too bad, they had a few nice ones – I still love my orange pebbled boxer ( bought in Saks for a great discount 2 days before he won the CFDA award) – btw, another purse blog inspired purchase
My favorite feature !!!!! Thank you!
These bags are a nice break from the bags celebs seem to carry. Great article (even if Vlad is a better photographer!).
#13 is a cute little Chanel bag. I’ve never seen that flap before. The woman in #20 looks like she tried a little bit too hard.
Duma wins again!
I always have a thing for beat up Chanel. I don’t know why.
The bag in slide 14 is by Building Block.
