Fashion month has finally concluded, and we’re still coming down from the high of PFW week. Over the years, we’ve greatly expanded our coverage, not only what happens on the runway but also off, including a closer look at the season’s runway bags.
While the shows are the main event, the grand finale happens in the days following the runway show—the resee. For those unfamiliar, a brand typically hosts a resee on the day or two after the show, giving both attendees and friends of the brand a closer look at what happened on the runway—the resee is a way for those at the show to quite literally see the collection again.
This season, I touched down in Paris again, standing strictly on business, and if you’ve been following us (or me!) on Instagram, then you’ve likely seen our coverage from the shows, outside of them, and up close at the resees.
This season was incredibly exciting—two-fold, because not only was it the sophomore ready-to-wear season for many brands, but it also meant that we got to see last season’s debut collections out in the wild, and see we did. I spent a busy eight days running from show to resee to show—and repeat.
I saw a lot of bags, and while we’ll be breaking down the entire season from a trend perspective soon, today, I’m here to provide you with a less analytical breakdown of the season, unpacking ten of the (many, many) bags I saw during PFW that are currently living rent-free in my head!
Chanel
Matthieu Blazy’s second ready-to-wear show, which, per usual, took place at the Grand Palais, was a 10/10 (I cried), but the real treat was seeing the bags up close at the resee. I have not been able to stop thinking about this Maxi Flap, which was shown in red, too.

Whimsical touches and intricate details define the collection, and this insane metallic top-handle bag quite literally caused me to gasp.

Dior
Dior introduced the Crunchy bag for the Spring 2026 season (more on that later), and it is back for Fall 2026. This feathery-flower version is a maximalist’s dream… swoon.

Celine
I have one word for this east/west Celine 16—chic!

Michael Rider offers a new take on Celine’s classic Triomphe closure with this top-handle bag, arriving in a variety of sizes and finishes. It can be worn open for a cool-girl, relaxed feel, revealing the bag’s shadow logo.

Loewe
We are all dreaming about the new Amazona 180 in embossed croc.

Louis Vuitton
This belted beauty adds a stylistic appeal to the classic Louis Vuitton Petite Malle, plus the shoulder strap makes it much more functional.

Hermès
Micro Picotins!! That is all…

Hermès gave the classics a sporty, utilitarian feel, which is so my vibe, and this cargo Kelly was my favorite.

Balenciaga
Pierpaolo Picciolo cemented his vision for Balenciaga this season, but OGs, fear not, Le City is here to stay. This studded version of the iconic bag feels like a nod to Nicolas’s Balenciaga.

Hermès always has the best bags!
Wow, no impulse to buy the Hermes bags. The Chanel bags are nice. The Balenciaga so edgy, I like it!
I couldn’t say I’d cry, swoon or gasp over any of these bags.
I was drawn to the green Chanel because of the color, however don’t you think it looks like a pet carrier a bit?
I don’t see that at all.
