If You Love Chanel Chevron Boy Bags, Here Are Some New Styles

A personal favorite pattern on one of my favorite bags...

There are certain bags that haunt me. Either I passed them up or decided I wanted them once they were already sold out, and a very specific early Chanel Chevron Boy Bag still has my heart to this day. It’s the version that combines the classic Chanel quilted pattern with Chevron (can be seen as the header image in this article) and I have never stopped thinking about it. I randomly check resale sites looking for it but have never found that exact version in the condition I’d like.

Though not the same as my holy grail, chevron printed Boy Bags quickly became one of the most sought after versions of the coveted bag. There’s something about the chevron print on these bags that really adds dimensionality and brings this bag to life.

I’ve always loved the Boy Bag, and unlike the majority of bags it shot into stardom not only as a cult favorite, but also a house classic. The design is more casual than the Classic Flap and if you know my style from how I’ve described it, then you know I have always dressed more laid back. The rectangular shape combined with the large link chain strap affirms a boyish allure. And with many feeling similarly about the easy daily wear, this bag seamlessly fit in nearly everyone’s wardrobe.

Each season, countless versions of the Boy Bag are released in a handful of sizes, and my favorite will always be their chevron printed versions. If you love the zig zag like pattern as much as I do, check out the current offerings Chanel has below.
