UK pop star Rita Ora was spotted bouncing from afterparty to afterparty in Milan after being a special guest, along with Katy Perry, at the Moschino Fall 2014 runway show. Rita is proudly displaying what we're going to call the Moschino Quilted Suit Jacket Bag, since it seems to be an obvious Chanel reference to both the brand's handbags and its signature bouclé suits. This bag is fresh off the runway, but you can shop Moschino at Net-A-Porter. (If you like to play things a little matchy matchy, I couldn't help but notice this Moschino Chain Embellished Boucle Coat seems to be drawing heavily from the same inspiration.)
Moschino has a reputation for being cheeky, literal and a bit cartoonish, and new creative director Jeremy Scott appears to be taking that idea in an even more extreme direction. (The fall clothes are junk food-themed, for example.) It makes sense that Rita would be one of Moschino's preferred celebs - she's definitely cheeky, and while she always looks stunning in gowns and heels, she is not at all unopposed to outfits that are slightly more conceptual in nature. You can browse Rita's full handbag collection and see all of her varied looks in "The Many Bags of Rita Ora".
