Native New Yorker and uber-talented director/writer/actor Natasha Lyonne is the definition of a cool girl. Her quirky, out-of-the-norm outfits are the kind of ‘fits that might seem questionable when worn by someone else, but they feel just right on her.
The mega-star was spotted leaving downtown Manhattan’s Bowery Hotel last week wearing a double dose of logos. Lyonne stars in the Netflix film His Three Daughters alongside Elizabeth Olson and Carrie Coon, releasing next month.
The red-headed maven didn’t let some raindrops ruin her day. She is seen smiling for shutterbugs on a rainy NYC day.
Logo Battle
Lyonne committed a questionable fashion act: She mixed and matched designer logos, opting to pair a Gucci logo dress with a Saint Laurent Jamie Bag and Gucci x Adidas loafers.
If someone had described this outfit to me without actually seeing it, I would probably have said no immediately. Still, Lyonne’s eclectic styling somehow pulls it all together. She offers an important reminder that there really should be no rules when it comes to fashion.
The most important thing to remember is to remain true to yourself and wear what makes you happy—dueling logos and all.
If I passed her on the street she wouldn’t stand out since her logos are hardly noticeable. Also, the white trim of her dress matches her shoes perfectly. There’s really nothing “eclectic” about her fashion choice here. 🤷♀️
