Celebs Carried Cute Bags from Coach, Gucci & Alexander McQueen Last Week

Not all designers are as liberal with their celeb freebies as others, and this sometimes makes it hard to assess the true success of any given designer style. On the one hand, we can be sure that the celebs who do carry these bags do so because they genuinely like them, but on the other hand, it’s hard to know how many celebrities even shop for themselves, even when they seem to do little else. Last week, celebs carried a few gorgeous bags from 2015 that haven’t quite received the fanfare you might expect, but certainly deserve it, in our humble opinions.

Claudia Schiffer was recently spotted in London carrying this multicolored Coach crossbody from their Fall 2015 collection while heading to Nobu with her husband. That mixed leather look gives this new-ish Coach bag a very vintage vibe.

Dakota Johnson
Valentino My Rockstud Bag
$2,995 via Net-a-Porter

Dakota Johnson is on the press trail right now for something other than 50 Shades of Grey or its forthcoming sequels (thank heavens). Here she is leaving her NYC hotel with a black, pebbled leather Valentino My Rockstud Bag, which has been an extremely popular choice for celebs in recent weeks. Dakota’s new movie How to Be Single hits theaters on February 12th.

Here are Rich Kids of Beverly Hills pals/costars Morgan Stewart and EJ Johnson, leaving Craig’s together with matching Birkins, as rich kids are wont to do. As you can see, EJ’s Birkin is croc, and his shirt and pants are fairly transparent.

Emily Ratajkowski
Gucci Lady Web Bag
$1,900 via Gucci

Actress Emily Ratajkowski was recently spotted heading to a meeting in West Hollywood with a colorful leather-and-logo Gucci Lady Web Bag. I love the Lady Web, and Megs went so far as to call it your Next Must-Have Bag last March, so I’m glad to see it getting some celeb love.

Kate Foley
Mark Cross Grace Box Bag
$2,195 via Nordstrom

Speaking of bags I love, here’s a sorely underrated Mark Cross Grace Box Bag, dangling from the arm of fashionista Kate Foley as she waits for her Uber outside the Greenwich Hotel. Kudos to whichever pap keeps his or her eyes peeled for celeb stylists.

Kylie Jenner
Givenchy Nightingale Bag
$2,190 via Barneys

Here’s Kylie Jenner, heading into a TV studio with her sisters. In case you missed it, we recently posted The Many Bags of Kylie Jenner, which you should absolutely check out. We’d profiled Kylie’s bag collection alongside Kendall’s in an older edition of Many Bags, but we figured it was time to give the girls their separate due.

Lily James was also doing some press in NYC this week for her upcoming flick PPZ: Pride, Prejudice, & Zombies. Here she is navigating around town with a beautiful floral Alexander McQueen satchel.

Nicky Hilton

And finally, here’s Nicky Hilton, attempting to scale an ice mountain in NYC while using an overstuffed Goyard Boeing Duffel Bag for balance. (Reportedly, one of the paparazzi helped her with her suitcase.) Nicky, I’ll be waiting at JFK. Text me when you get there.
