The Under-the-Radar Bag I Can’t Stop Obsessing Over

Sleek, clean lines with a minimalist shape: I can't stop dreaming about this Hunting Season Bag

As you guys are well aware of by now, my desire to buy and buy and buy continues on, and my dream bags span well beyond the obvious designer brands of the moment. While I crave the trendy bag brands as much as any bag lover, more and more, I like to up my bag game and carry brands that are also a bit under-the-radar. I often find myself pinning new brands on Instagram, or scrolling through the new designers section of some of my favorite online shopping destinations. Recently I’ve begun to add more contemporary and lesser-known designers to my collection, and currently I am all eyes for The Hunting Season Lizard Tote.

I can’t remember exactly when or how I discovered Hunting Season, but I remember immediately thinking that its bags were great and being pretty intrigued by them. Up until recently, I hadn’t actually considered the fact that I needed one in my closet. I somehow stumbled across the Lizard Tote and instantly decided that I must have it. I can’t stop obsessing over it, and I’m rather surprised at how high it has risen on my ‘want list.’ I love everything about this bag, from the sleek, structured shape to the dainty top handle and the removable shoulder strap. I love how it can be dressed up, but I would also totally carry it my own way, the way I carry most of my bags—casual but chic, usually with jeans and sneakers.

The bag, as its name states, is made of lizard, and though I never thought I would dream of a lizard bag dangling from my arm, Hunting Season made me change my mind. I like the understated, neutral gray tone, which compliments the lizard skin really well, and this bag looks super well-constructed. It’s lined in suede, which makes it seem all the more luxurious. I’m dying to get my hands on one, and if you are too, you can snag one of your own via Net-a-Porter for $1,895.
