If I’ve mentioned it once, I’ve mentioned it a thousand times—fall continues to be (and will forever be) my favorite season to shop for. Fall dressing is unarguably the most fun to dress for because you have a lot more to play with. With changing temperatures, you can layer more, making dressing almost like a fun math equation.
I crave a closet refresh in the fall more so than when the temps start to heat up. The perfect fall wardrobe contains a mix of basic staples like good denim and the perfect white tee alongside statement pieces that will elevate any look. Of course, a statement bag is a must-have too, whether it be an exciting new shape or a pop of color to elevate your fall fits.
I’ve still got my eye on Alaïa’s Le Teckel bag, which would look insanely chic paired with cool barrel jeans and Larroude’s red mules (red is still a must-have color this season). It can also be dressed down with an easy trench (I love this season’s cropped iterations) and sneakers.
A good pair of sunglasses will add an instant chic factor to any outfit, plus, you’ll need them for fall days at the apple orchard. If you’re like me, you crave different, and the Bottega Veneta sunglasses tugged at me enough to swipe my credit card. They hug my face well, and I love the cool architectural shape of the lenses.

I can’t unsee how the top of the Loewe skirt looks like the elastic band of men’s underwear 🤭. Apologies if I ruined anyone else’s view.
My first thought!!! Well, second actually, contemplating how carefully you have to sit in a skirt like that (with a front slit). Unless the length is much more midi than I’m thinking. Anyhoo the mens underwear band. Just, no.

I hear you I do! However I wear plain white tees very often, and I like having one that’s more elevated in my rotation for dinners out with jeans and heels, etc. I had a James Perse tee I wore to death that needs replacing. For day-to-day – I love the Sezane Conrad Tee – I own 2!
Sezane makes great shirts, blouses and tees. To me, they’re feminine & beautiful!
