I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I first spotted the picture and in a matter of minutes a range of emotions came over me. First I felt shocked and appalled—WHO on earth carries a bag that costs THAT much to the gym? Then I just sort of accepted the whole debacle as a fact of the fab life. She is J.Lo after all. And though a Birkin is just not my style, I can relate to the urge to carry a stylish bag to the gym. For many a workout is just one stop on a long train of errands. When you’re running from place to place you want a bag that’s practical, but any fashion lover will understand the need to still feel stylish. So today I’ve got a whole slew of bags that are practical enough to carry to your favorite workout (read: they’ll fit your S’Well bottle and clean easily!) without sacrificing style. So go ahead and accessorize your athleisure, and if you never actually make it to the gym I won’t tell.

So true!! I see them EVERYWHERE, especially MZ Wallace. I’ve seen the Jemma “Birdie” as well, which they just lowered the price on recently.

The Burberry backpack looks nice, but I’m allergic to nylon ? ?. I love the yellow color of the Gucci handbag and the bluish green color it plays off of at the end. The Gucci floral tote just screams spring, and I probably would carry it to a gym. The Prada PVC tote also looks good. I do think that Dagne Dover and MZ Wallace should have gotten a mention. Great article though, I enjoyed reading it and browsing through the bags.
That Gucci is so cute, but I seriously doubt if I would ever carry it to the gym. The Prada messenger or the Adidas would be more my speed. Some lady on YouTube had her Fendi Peek-a-Boo stolen from the gym. She showed pictures of the locker that she put them in, and the thieves took the door off of the hinges. Since then, I have wanted something under the radar and less flashy. The Prada and Adidas fit the bill.
Nice bags but I definitely not carrying any of them to the gym! I’ve seen ladies in the locker room with some nice bags but that is not practical for me. I’m not putting a bag that cost 1G on that floor with all the sweat, dirt (not to mention athletes foot germs!) No way!
I like the burberry backpack from all the above collection.

Back in 2006 I used to bring my chloe paddington with me to the gym and used the lock for my gym lock. I got a kick out of it!

The Gucci is really cute, a full on copy of the Adidas backpacks from the 80’s and 90’s. You can get the original for around 30 euros, no need to go the crazy route… 😛
I have been using my Men’s Michael Kors blue camo duffle bag for the gym. Wish MK would make one in pink camo.
