Arguably one of the most talked about (and highly coveted) bags of the 2020s, the Telfar Shopping Bag has become a cult favorite, lovingly dubbed the Bushwick Birkin. First gaining popularity thanks to its no-fuss, accessible approach towards fashion, the brand further exploded back in 2020 as the long-overdue social justice movement thrust Black-owned brands and businesses into the spotlight, catapulting the brand’s popularity even further.

All of this meant an incredibly high demand for its lust-worthy shopping totes, available in an array of sizes and colors; there’s a Telfar for all, and Telfar will make sure it’s available for all too. Quickly, Telfar became privy to both the pros and cons of creating an It-Bag as fans clamored to get their hands on a bag with every drop and the bag’s scarcity was at its peak. Still, years later, the brand shows no signs of slowing, and each drop continues to be as coveted as the last, with inventory selling out as quickly as it’s released.

Must-Have Monogram

The latest from Telfar is here and for the first-ever monogram jacquard outfits the brand’s beloved shoppers in all sizes—small, medium, and large. Unlike the brand’s classic silhouette, the bags feature removable and adjustable straps and a top zip. A new brand signature, the woven monogram jacquard comes in black and tan and features an embossed logo compartment on the front exterior of the bag. Like the shoppers that have come before, this drop will likely fly in the blink of an eye, so be sure to set your alarms if you want to snag one. Monogram jacquard drops today 4/28 at 12pm EST.

All these brands look the same, just another logo.
Sadness…

Oh look! It will look perfect in a TJMAXX clearance bin.
Way to devalue your brand power, Telfar!

These are super-cheap looking to me, not at all lust-worthy.

I like these better than the original Telfar bags! I like the silhouette and the shape, and definitely appreciate the top zip. I wonder what the jacquard feels like.

This looks like printed Nylon, not a jacquard I think.
