I’ve often spoken about how there are some handbag brands that I forget about from time to time. Truthfully, the handbag world is huge, and there is much more out there than just the holy trinity (Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and the Big H). And even though I have an MCM Berlin Trunk Bag that I love (it’s great for nights out and always a conversation starter), sometimes I forget to browse the brand’s latest offerings. Last month, Megs shared her new bright green bag from MCM, but what I couldn’t take my eye off of was the MCM Pup doll. As a Frenchie owner, I was obsessed (of course), and I was pleasantly surprised to see so many Frenchie items amongst the MCM lineup. This pup charm immediately caught my eye (that color!), but for a really adorable accessory to tote to the dog park, I fell in love with this Mini Bucket Bag.
Puppy Love
The M Pup is new to the MCM family this season, and it’s here big time, offered in the form of RTW, handbags, and accessories. Frenchies are known to be, and I can most certainly attest to this, playful, quirky, and full of fun. The M Pup range embodies this feel with bold, bright colors and fun pieces that most certainly will delight. There are plenty of items to choose from for pup owners or pup lovers, but my favorite is the Mini Bucket Bag, which features a 3D M Pup portrait.
The Frenchie emblem sits on top of MCM’s bold Color Splash Logo Visetos monogram print, and it can be worn with the Frenchie head facing either in or out. Crafted of Nappa leather, there is a long adjustable leather strap which is also removable, and a leather top handle. The longer strap is perfect for hands free-days (at the dog park or otherwise!), and while this bag comes in a black and purple print, I’m more drawn to the tan and the pale yellow version.

This mini bucket is small but still packs a decent punch in size, with overall dimensions of 7.9″ L x 5.5″ W x 3.9″ D and an interior slit pocket.
