Bloomingdale’s Launches Sunset + Spring, Inspired by Coast-to-Coast American Style

Although every American city has its own unique aesthetic and sense of style, New York City and Los Angeles are unquestionably the two style capitols of the USA. New York’s look is more polished and and a bit darker, while LA feels bright and bohemian, but without losing its luxurious edge. When the two meet, you’ve got the quintessential American look, which is what Bloomingdale’s has tried to capture in its new Sunset + Spring department.

Sunset + Spring, which launched last week, takes both its name and style inspiration from Spring Street in NYC’s SoHo neighborhood and Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. In it, you’ll find fashionable clothes ranging from basics to statement pieces, all at a contemporary price point (almost everything is less than $100) that makes it easy to incorporate new pieces from trendy brands like MINKPINK and BB Dakota into your wardrobe.

It’s not often that a major retailer launches a whole new department, and Bloomingdale’s was kind enough to send over some pieces from the new Sunset + Spring range for us to style. Check out our finished looks below or get to shopping via Bloomingdale’s!
