A preview of the larger collection for Fall 2023, Bottega Veneta unveils a look at its stunning Pre-Fall 2023 collection. Launching today, Pre-Fall 2023 sees a modern approach to wardrobe essentials, reimagined through Matthieu Blazy’s lens with Bottega Veneta’s approach to quality and craft. From the start, Blazy has applied a unique approach to his design process, focusing first on unique materials and applying that fixation and attention to detail to his collections as a whole. Blazy continues to build on that vision, offering pieces that at first glance feel stripped down, like denim, t-shirts, and workwear shirts, but are actually anything but simple. For Blazy, it’s about designing cool clothes that are easy to wear but still possess that luxury feel.

Icons New and Old, Revisited

As for the bags, this season sees new iterations of Bottega Veneta icons, both new and old. A new House staple, the Andiamo bag is reinvented in seasonal colors and elongated new proportions. Meanwhile, the always stylish and forever classic Cabat appears in multicolor hues, showcasing a zig-zag pattern alongside the Cabat Bucket Bag in purple, brown, and light-washed blue hues. Fans of the Sardine bag will love the latest iteration, a stunning green crocodile carry, which sits alongside a variety of other Intrecciato shapes and new versions of the Kalimero. Bags, like the RTW pieces, feel inherently Bottega with Matthieu Blazy’s spin, the ideal marriage of new meets old. So glad I stuck with getting the original Sardine and didn’t wait for this medium one with straps as my SA told me to. It looks awkward af. Firstly, the bag is already big enough in the regular size and now it’s just going to be a giant endless pit since there’s no compartments inside. Secondly, the bag is clearly designed to be a top handle bag due to the weight of the solid brass handle, so there’s no point in the straps. Thirdly, while we’re on the topic of the straps, they’re much too flimsy for the enormous weight of that bag so they would only dig into your shoulder. Let’s also not forget that they’re NOT removable so they look odd just hanging around.

Funny, I love everything but the Sardine – old and new style. Kinda salty like your posts….

Maybe get a dictionary cinnamon, because salty implies that I’m angry or resentful in some way, which really would make no sense since I have the damn bag lol… in fact, I own most Bottega bags if I’m being honest. And if there is one I love but do currently not own.. I buy it! That’s how simple it is. Inanimate objects don’t make me salty, what makes me salty is people of your intelligence grade. All I try to do with my comments is to attempt to HELP ppl who are maybe considering purchasing this bag to really think about it and heed my warning so to speak. In my line of work my eagle eye gets me far, and I notice many things that most do not. Also, these bags are not getting any cheaper, in fact they’re skyrocketing so much that I’ve seen many women say that they will no longer be able to afford these bags if the climate keeps up like this. Therefore, I want to make everyone aware so they don’t impulse buy a 7k bag and then later on realize all these issues. Comprende?

Are you aware of the way you come across? You appear omniscient, sarcastic, demeaning & superior. I enjoy learning from everyone, but your attitude is off putting & difficult. Even in your “attempts to help people…and heed my warning, so to speak” this falls on deaf ears. The presentation of your message is harsh. Quoting my now deceased MIL “you can catch more flies with sugar than vinegar” i.e. be kind and people will listen to you.

Sheesh!!I thought Cinnamon was being a little “tongue-in-cheek” with their comment and I found it funny…No reason to be so rude in your reply–we’re talking about BAGS for crying out loud!! Good vibes only!

Ok but i dont understand why you would hold a cossbody or long strap bag by crumbling the long strap and holding that part with your hand.

Or hold a tophandle bag like a clutch.

The straps are there for a reason.
