Just as the rest of the world is cooling down, this is the time that South Florida heats up. People from all over the world call South Florida their winter home and it means the events calendar is busier than ever and with it also comes great bags and style.
One of my favorite spots is Bal Harbour Shops (honestly, you need to check it out if you’ve never been; it’s the most serene luxury shopping experience), and last week, they hosted a Fashion Show with Neiman Marcus and the Pegasus World Cup. The latter is the upcoming premiere horse racing experience that takes place in Gulfstream Park this weekend.
Before we are off to the races, we were off to the fashion races with the Fashion Show in the courtyard of Bal Harbour Shops and while we checked out the runway looks styled by Neiman Marcus, we were mostly interested in the bags showgoers carried.
Hermès reigned supreme, with many variations from the rare to the ultra-rare being carried. It was nice to see some lesser-known bags, including an exotic beauty from Tom Ford and cobalt blue Loewe Paseo (an underrated bag if you ask me). Rare Hermès, Chanel Favorites and More
“Rarest bags” then shows variations of the same few Birkins, Kellys, and Chanel bags we see in almost every post. I used to be a big fan here, but the last year or so has become just iterations of the same articles over and over again. Show us something new, show us emerging designers, spotlights on cool techniques and/or surface treatments, interesting vintage (non designer or designer), etc.

I LOVE PURSEBLOG, but please, enough with the Birkins and the Kellys. They are on here so often now it’s almost (sorry) boring? And no, I am not jealous and I don’t want one. Just pointing out the redundancy on this site.

And I’m sick of seeing Birkin and Kelly especially in Himalaya ones. Pick something that’s rarely be seen here. I mean yes, these bags maybe hard to get hence make it hard to find, but we see it on here too often. Year after year. Don’t you get bored? Please pick something really interesting. Please….
The cargo Birkin is a cool take on the bag. I usually love Hermes colors but not really interested in the bags. I could go for this one in a color other than black.
I like seeing the old school Celine, and the Tom Ford bag is stunning.
Can’t be that rare if so many people are wearing them like every post about these type of events it’s always the same birkins and Kelly’s in the same exotics the only thing rare is a brunette in that see of bad bleach jobs
