It’s no secret that Coach is in flux. After the departure of longtime creative head Reed Krakoff, the company has decided to pivot its public image in a more fashion-savvy direction. First, that meant bringing on handbag savant Stuart Vevers, late of Loewe and Mulberry, and allowing him to set a tone for the brand’s aesthetic future. The next step, it appears, is shifting its retail strategy – there are going to be far fewer Coach stores in the near future, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

Man Bag Monday: Herschel Malibu Collection Novel Duffel
This past Saturday marked the official beginning of summer, according to nature, although the rest of us have been enjoying warm weather and leaving the office a little early on Fridays for weeks now. I celebrated this scientific designation by heading to the beach for a day, but if I were to turn a trip like that into a long weekend, I’d want the Herschel Malibu Collection Novel Duffel at my side.

Purseonals: Céline Nano Luggage Tote
In the past few years, no bag has gained the quick and steady popularity of the Céline Luggage Tote. The bag reached mass It Bag hysteria in 2011 and has yet to to waiver from the pedestal everyone has placed it on. In fact, you can see this bag on the arms of basically everyone – actresses, reality stars, style bloggers and fashion insiders alike. A day hasn’t gone by in a long time in which I haven’t seen a version of the Céline Luggage Tote.
While many know the Mini version of this bag as the classic, the Nano popped up a few seasons later and gathered quite the following. I’ve already reviewed my much-beloved and little-known Celine Triptyque, and now I want to give you a look at my Celine Nano.
Here’s how my Céline Nano Luggage Tote scores in our PurseBlog Purseonals ratings:
Lauren Conrad and her Balenciaga Bag Prove That Sometimes Stars are Just Like Us
Here’s Lauren Conrad, eating at Lemonade in West Hollywood with friends, carrying the same muted pink Balenciaga Papier A4 Tote we saw her with in West Hollywood a few months ago. (I do like to see celebs getting more than one or two uses out of their handbags before sending them to celebrity handbag purgatory. … Read more

Love It or Leave It: MCM München Cute Monsters Soccer Special Edition Backpack
If you haven’t caught World Cup fever yet, you’re probably alone, at least based on the daily shouting we hear from around our floor at work every day. I played soccer as a kid and have loved it since I was eight years old, but even you’re a relative novice when it comes to the beautiful game, the excitement and energy of the World Cup can be intoxicating. Based on the MCM München Cute Monsters Soccer Special Edition Backpack, the fashion industry certainly isn’t immune.
Irina Shayk Beats the New York Heat with an Hermes Birkin
Russian supermodel (and repeat Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl) Irina Shayk was recently spotted hanging out with a couple of friends in Soho. She’s carrying a bright, cobalt blue Hermes Birkin, of course. It’s surprising to see Irina in the city when her boyfriend, Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, is currently playing for his … Read more
Instagram Handbag Celebrities: @fashionlover178
You’d think that after covering Instagram accessory celebrities for a little over a month now, I would be used to the idea of owning the same bag in eighteen different colors, but no. This week, I stumbled upon the Instagram of Hermes and Chanel addict @fashionlover178.
The Many Bags of Sarah Jessica Parker, Part Two
Sarah Jessica Parker is as close to a true original as actresses get these days. She’s made her own way, and now she occupies a beloved space in pop culture (and especially in fashion) that gives her the ability simply to be loved by being her. When she launched a shoe line at Nordstrom, of … Read more
Edie Parker Gets Seriously Pretty for Resort 2015
I’ll let my bias be known up front: I’m a huge Edie Parker fan, and if I were to need a crazy-fancy clutch in my life, it would unquestionably be one of designer Brett Heyman’s that I’d march right out and buy. They’re evening bags with any of the antiquated fuss that the term usually … Read more
