The Many Bags of Emily Ratajkowski

The model-mogul-mom has an eclectic, enviable collection of bags. Let's take a look!

American model, actress, author, activist, mom, and the list goes on, Emily Ratajkowski is known for many things. Some include the myriad of brands she walks the runway for and works with, but the most notable include her many talents beyond modeling.

Known to her 28.8 million (and counting) Instagram fans as Em Rata, the mogul-mom founded her swimwear brand Inamorata alongside friend Kat Mendenhall in 2017. In 2021, the mega-star made her authorial debut with the release of her memoir My Body, a rebranding of sorts, taking back her autonomy.

The star also used her voice to start a podcast called High Low with Em Rata. The podcast covered, you guessed it, everything from feminism and philosophy to fashion and culture until it was canceled due to Sony’s layoffs.

Em Rata may be an acquired taste to some, but she has definitely been the voice of a generation, proving that women can be known for their beauty, as well as their brains and opinions. All that aside, there’s no denying that her style and handbag taste are elite.

High/Low Style

We’ve caught Emily many times over the years, but it’s time we took a complete look at her collection, which includes everything from vintage Hermès and The Row to Loewe, Miu Miu, and more. What’s most notable is that Emily re-wears her bags often, and three brands she favors big time are Miu Miu, Prada, and Loewe.

Like her podcast, her style is very high/low. She often pairs her bags with sneakers and dressed-down looks, but she will also wear the same bag dressed up. Most of the shots below were captured around New York, proving that whether red carpet ready or not, Em Rata always looks put together.

I do not like her style. It is all too trendy, but in the worst way possible. Like she took all the trends and wore them at once. Her bag collection represents that. Nothing classic or long lasting style wise. Just trendy bags that will be dated in a few seasons.

Chini

I was thinking exactly the same!!

NShap

Harsh comments. Agreed that she does take on a lot of trends, but she is young and has the funds and body to do so. Her style looks like shes not trying to hard and likely doesn’t use a stylist. Her looks are what she likes and are very relatable in their simplicity and yes most of the bags are black but that probably just makes it easier for them to style with all her outfits. I think it was an interesting snapshot on how she dresses and her bags, her style definitely feels very NYC.

Susmita Gupta

agreed!! just being herself!!!

Susan

She’s not being “herself.” She knows she is being photographed. She is crafting a public image as part of her own branding.

Hervé

Exactly.

jajag

I find these posts kinda pointless. This person is meaningless.

Emily

Majority of those bags are probably gifted to her.

Deliah Boerleider

Who is she 😃

Fabuleux

I feel that way about 99% of “celebrities” featured on this website. I must be very old or disconnected from that world. 💀

J H

LOL. So do I. I know this celebrity because I saw Gone Girl and a music video. I think reality TV and influencers have created way too many celebrities for people to keep track of.

Alice

The redeeming feature of this post is that I’m now inspired to walk my dog in a form fitting red dress.

kvdba

Ha! Funny (note to self, maybe time for a dog). Style-wise she is such a mess. I get why she like to show off her big boobs and tiny waist, they’re fabulous. But gosh the clothes/style/aesthetic are a mess. Ahhh, youth.

Fabuleux

Reminds me of this quote by Shaw: “Youth is wasted on the young.” Nothing truer has ever been written!

Laura

Wow some nasty and green eyed monster comments on this article. She has her own eclectic style. It’s nice to see she has a variety of bags in different brands, styles and colours and textures. I can appreciate she’s youthful and is rocking fashion in her own way as young people do. She is a beautiful young woman with a kick asse body. She’s clearly comfortable and confident. What a way to be.

Larauli

People saying they don’t enjoy her style is not “nasty.” Style is subjective and personal. You seem like someone who gets offended by everything…

Pamela

I think there’s a polite way to say things …even if you don’t like someone’s style. They called her trashy. That falls in the category of nasty. You’re not fooling anyone.

Pamela

So stop trying to sugarcoat it

Adelylt

Interesting to see all the comments here. I don’t necessarily love her style, but it doesn’t offend me either.

Her outfits simply remind me of how trendy young girls dress in most major big cities around the world because #fashun. I’m old enough to remember doing the baggy pants thing the first time around, so some of those looks made me chuckle a little.

Even then, it feels to me like she’s getting attention because of WHO she is and not because she’s actually “stylish” per se. Every milieu has its share of IT girls who eventually fade into the horizon owing to natural replacement. It has become as inevitable as old age, sickness, and death. 😝

Annoyed

Pretty girl let’s hate on her… energy in here

Sergio

Going through life “Annoyed” is not good for your mental health.

Kiki

People are allowed to have opinions that differ from yours. If you can’t deal, I suggest you stay off the internet.

Yas

Doesn’t that apply to you too though?

Kiki

I’m not the one shading a bunch of people because they don’t like this woman’s outfit…🤷‍♀️

Simbadog8

I think she is adorable and I love her style. So shoot me.

Boom

Someone might.

Bitter Betty

Lord have mercy so many bitter betties!!

Barbara

I do not like her style. I find it forced and unimaginative.

Kerry

She is insufferable in her IG videos, which makes me hate her style even more

Gigi

Totally agree. Her Insta is cringe to the max.

daveloeweyou

⬆️⬆️ Even more and more hate.

Hervé

You seem to be confusing hate with dislike. These are two very different things.

pat

Tough crowd. I love what she’s wearing in the last 3 photos.

Chris

She looks like every other young woman with money in New York. I see a version of her every day. Unremarkable but also just fine.

Aaron

Sad how jealous alot of u are. If u don’t like her , move on and don’t look at the post. It’s that easy. Just cause ur worthless and don’t have what she does , doesn’t mean u need to cry about .
