First and foremost, I wish I had better pictures of this bag. Since I don’t I will make the best of it. I came across this Alexander Wang Diego Suede Bucket Bag and had to stop and look into it more. First of all, let me say, this bag is not something I’d probably rock, but I can think of countless friends who would love to have this bag slung over their shoulders. There is something edgy, funky and completely original about this bag.

Alexander Wang Diego Suede Bucket Bag

This navy suede bag as those traditional silver tone stud details along the bottom. The stud detailing very much reminds me of the Alexander Wang Coco Bag that we’ve covered both here and over on Bag That Style. This one is much smaller, more compact and other than the stud detailing is completely different. The adjustable shoulder strap will let you use this as a cross body bag as well as a simple shoulder bag. One of the other things I love about this bag is that you can completely wear it during the day with a casual outfit and you can also dress it up for a night out on the town. Buy through Brown’s for £710.

I actually like this better than the Coco. It a familial resemblance of sorts, but its more casual and rock ‘n’ roll. Love.

  • I have been digging this bag too, but I would love to try it on first. Might need to go search for it and see what it looks like on!

This is being released in the gorgeous DOVE gray for Spring 2010. The texture is amazing and this has been a popular model due to the 17″ shoulder strap. The opening does have the drawstring, but is large enough to get into on the go! Love AW, we will see his new Sunglasses line from Opening Ceremony within a few weeks. 2010 is going to be another huge year for him.

Do you have any idea when the diego will be released in the dove gray, or where I could get it? My birthday is coming up in feb. and had the dove coco on my wishlist but I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEEE this one!!! Please let me know if you have any more info! Thanks :)))

I don’t like the Coco, and I don’t like this one either. I think that those two bags are just ugly. It’s probably just me since the first time I saw this bag one of the Olsen sisters was wearing it in all of her hobo glory.

I love it. I’m glad this one has silver hardware. The shape makes me think of a magician’s pouch.

Love the look, but so heavy!

I really like this one – especially in the navy suede with black leather. I’ve seen it in the camel suede, which is also pretty, but camel suede seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

I have the original AW black Coco with brass studs – it’s a beautifully made bag – very heavy but gorgeous. If I could possibly find this one for 35% off (I was able to use a lucky magazine code at Mick Margo for the Coco), I’d grab it immediately!

    I love it!! Great Style!

This one is so interesting, especially in the desert suede- I spotted it at a sample sale (owned by someone, unforch) and it was quite the funky beauty among many Chanel 2.55s and other black leathers.

Just got the navy suede delivered from Brown’s. Heavy, yes. But oooohhh so gorgeous! Casual but different and perfect for me who is a jeans girl. Gives my outfit the added edge. Yess! Good buy! :-)
