Wait a Second, I Might Actually Like this Juicy Couture 70s Tomboy Mini Cross Body Bag

You all have to know by now that I am not a fan of Juicy Couture handbags. This all started way back when Megs purchased a Juicy Couture bag that made my eyes bleed. Granted this was years and years and years ago, but I still remember the day she came home with it. Now, Megs is much more of a fashionista than I, so I probably should have just kept my mouth shut and appreciated the bag for what it was. But alas, I did not.

Needless to say, the design team at Juicy Couture has to work pretty hard to impress me. I am not one for a bag which SCREAMS its brand. Sorry folks, just not my style. However, there is something about this bag that I actually like. Let’s look at it a bit more closely.

I have to admit, I was 100% surprised to see that this bag was in fact a Juicy Couture creation. And at the same time, there was something about it that seemed eerily familiar. The Juicy Couture 70s Tomboy Mini Cross Body Bag is shockingly decent. Yet, is it just me, or does this bag remind you very much of the Tory Burch Rayna Nubuck Mini Bag? I see so many similarities it is crazy. But, let’s just move on.

This leather bag has zip pockets and flap detailing at the front and back. I am a fan of the chain wrist strap and detachable chain shoulder strap (24″ drop). The bag itself is small (6″H x 8.5″L x 3″D), but that is the point. So, all in all, I do like this bag, but I can’t help but know I’d rather have the Tory Burch creation on my shoulder instead of this one. What do you think? Buy through Shopbop for $198.
