This Rag & Bone Tote May Actually Resemble A Railroad

You see, the names that designers give their handbags are for a reason. They don’t just pick them out of a hat (well, maybe some do- but that’s a topic for another time). So this Rag & Bone Railroad Tote actually means something.

Look closely at the bag. Well, you actually don’t have to look quite so closely, because it’s fairly obvious that the two parallel bands of light leather trim could conceivable resemble railroad tracks. To take this resemblance even further, perhaps the grey of the bag is meant to resemble the light grey of Greyhound trains? We will never know.

Rag and Bone Railroad Tote

The one thing that is completely certain to me is that the overall length of this tote is far too generous. I mean, your entire arm could completely disappear if you had to plunge it in to search for your keys. Despite this and the overall massive size, though, the tote stays true to classic Rag & Bone distressed simplicity, both in the muted colors and varied textures. Buy through Shopbop for $195.

Not a bad tote but I agree that its a little too North/South for me. I could see stuff getting buried in something so tall. I do like the leather trim and the front pocket, though it may be a bit too small to be functional.
