Once again, there is just something about this bag that I really like. I think that last sentence is one that you have become all too familiar with me writing, so I vow to try and switch it up, but folks, it is true. There are some bags you absolutely love right away and others you know you cannot stand. And still there are bags out there that I might not be completely in love with but there are aspects of it that truly intrigue me. While there are certain aspects of the See by Chloe Grasshopper Cross Body Bag that I could do without, this is not a bad option for a cross body bag, not a bad option at all.

The See by Chloe line has continued to impress me. It’s not just one of those off shoot lines that gets little or no thought. This bag is a prime example. The purple pebbled leather has a hook closure at the front flap. As I mentioned before, there is something I could do without and that would be the gathered elastic banding on those patch side pockets. I don’t know how much use anyone would get out of those side pockets, so why even bother? Gold hardware against the purple leather glistens nicely. Of course, being a cross body bag, there is a great adjustable shoulder strap so that you can wear it on one shoulder or across the body. Buy through Shopbop for $590.
The clasp is clever, the shape is good, and the color looks nice. Definitely not your hasty offshoot.
