Sara Berman Decca Midi Studded Shoulder Bag

This could potentially be love at first sight. The Sara Berman Decca Midi Studded Shoulder Bag was welcomed with open arms by little ol’ me. The bag is classified a shoulder bag but also possesses so many hobo-like qualities, which of course, I love. But, it’s not just the shape, nor is it the color, in fact, it’s not any one thing that has me loving the bag. All in all, every single aspect comes together for a harmonious execution of a handbag.

The first thing that I noticed was a tie between the color and the shape. I love both of them. The grey leather is fabulous and I am always looking for a great new grey bag. Grey is the kind of color that really seems to go with just about any outfit. The shape is slouchy and fabulous. If you aren’t one for slouchy bags, then this one might not be for you; yet since I am a huge fan of almost all things slouchy, this one is right up my alley.

Another thing that could drive people to love or hate it is obviously the studding. For those of you who are totally over the stud craze, again, this might not be for you. Personally, I love the gold-tone studding on the strap and base. In fact the studding along the base reminds me a bit of the Alexander Wang Coco Bag, but after Meg’s review of the bag, I have a feeling this one, although a different shape, is much better. The studding along the bottom of the bag doesn’t look nearly as heavy as that of the Coco, which causes me to breathe a sigh of relief. Open up this gorgeous bag and you will find leopard-print satin lining. As you can tell, I am a fan of this bag. Are you? Buy through Net-a-Porter for $645.
