I can completely envision the quintessential Rebecca Minkoff girl toting this awesome bag. You know that fabulous photo that comes up on her website of the girl wearing the massive squiggly fur vest? That’s the one- and if I had a fur vest, there’s no doubt in my mind that I’d pair it with this Rebecca Minkoff Lovespell Rocker Bag.

The Lovespell Rocker manages to combine rocker with bohemian in an entirely unique and new way. Allow me to explain. Rebecca Minkoff continues with the rocker trend by incorporating her signature studs, but the addition of a line of leather fringe at the bottom and stitching among the metal makes for an artsy collective. It’s a new direction, to be sure, but it’s innovative and is suitable for twice as many types of personal style.

For me, it’s the cream color that makes this an organic melding of two styles. You can get it in fuchsia to make your outfit pop, or black if you want a more traditional choice, but the cream is the star for me. The mix of the gold studs to the cream color is what really adds a romantic, blushing quality to the bag. Buy through Shopbop for $330.

I love RM and all, but I’m not feeling this bag. I don’t mind fringe, but the fringe on this bag just looks like an after thought. I think it’d be way cuter without it.

I wish the fringe was shorter. I agree though the cream is the best color.

This is probably the weakest design in RM’s current line, in my opinion – it very much feels like an afterthought, unfortunately. (And this is coming from someone who has been following and purchasing RM bags for years).

I agree with Jane, the fringe needs to be shorter. Right now it’s just too much (fb)
