Marc by Marc Jacobs is really on to something with this whole belt thing

I’m sensing a pattern. First we talked about the Marc by Marc Jacobs Tangramarama Anna Clutch, which Megs decided she loved so much that she made it one of her ShopBop Fashion Insider picks. And now we have the Marc by Marc Jacobs Tang Natalie Bag, which takes a similar tone-texture concept and turns it into a functional option for everyday use.

Keep this stuff coming, Marc. This line is the freshest and most interesting stuff that I can remember seeing from Marc by Marc Jacobs in quite a while.

For my own purposes, I would have preferred to have this bag in the green color scheme that the Tangramarama Anna Clutch wears so well. I rarely find myself using neutral bags as an everyday option, and the green that made up most of the clutch would have worked incredibly well in my daily wardrobe. For people who prefer their bags to be more neutral, though, this black-and-greige option is perfect. It goes with every neutral under the sun because of the contrasting trim (ok, maybe not navy), and despite the fact that the structure means the bag will likely turn into a black hole of nothingness that will eat all of your stuff at the precise time that you need it, I’d still like to have it in my collection. Buy through Neiman Marcus for $528.
