Each time I see designer name, Lauren Merkin, I think – clutches. I have become so accustom to checking out Lauren Merkin clutches that I almost forget that she designs other handbags too. So, each time I come across something other than a clutch of hers, I am pretty pleased. I’ve been a fan of her clutches for quite some time now, so by default I expect something great from her other bags as well. Luckily, she rarely disappoints me.
The Lauren Merkin Bella Stud Tote is a fabulous tote which uses the right color and a bit of studding to stand out. Being a tote, this bag is on the large side but doesn’t seem to be too overwhelming. Another thing that I like is that the bag is a bit structured without being rigid or uncomfortable. Golden hardware adorns either the black or taupe leather. I really appreciate the placement of the studding around the trim of the bag. This is a fantastic option for both daytime and nighttime use.
