We’re all conditioned to pay a certain amount of markup for exotics, particularly ultra luxe skins like python. If you’re careful and choose correctly, though, you don’t have to. More and more small brands keep popping up to give us python without the premium prices, and Abaco is my favorite of the moment.

The Abaco Python Dana Crossbody is similar to the larger bag that we featured over at PurseBlog recently, but it’s a mini crossbody and the price is even better than you would expect.

Come to think of it, though, this bag isn’t actually all that “mini.” At 11 inches wide, this bag is certainly big enough to carry daily essentials in style, and it doesn’t cost $1700 like most bags with this python would, were they designed by a name-y company. In fact, this bag is just over a thousand dollars cheaper than that, and I’m sure you could find a good use for that extra grand. Buy through Bloomingdale’s for $690.

    It looks heavy.
To be honest, it’s a little dark for my taste. It’s kind of sad.
