Saint Laurent Adds a Bucket Bag to Its Ever-Expanding Logo Lineup

Introducing the Le 37 Bucket Bag

Saint Laurent has seen steady success in the 7 years since Anthony Vaccarello replaced Hedi Slimane as Creative Director at the House. Though Vaccarello has not been quick to reinvent the wheel at the French fashion House, he’s great at knowing what works for the brand and following that trajectory. In recent years we’ve seen him stray slightly from the brand’s typically logo-heavy assortments with sleek shoulder bags like the Le Carre and the Le Maillon. And while fans and critics have been quick to point out that Vaccarello’s assortment was too logo-heavy, there is something to be said about knowing what works and understanding what consumers want to see, and Vaccarello continues to nail that. The Kering-owned house reported strong earnings in 2023 and aims to see a continued increase in profits this year.

Logo Love

With the recent success of the ever-expanding Le 5 À 7 line as well as the cult-favorite Icare Maxi Shopper, it’s clear that Saint Laurent fans are logo-lovers at heart. Now, for Spring 2023, Anthony Vaccarello and Saint Laurent introduce a stunning new bucket bag, which literally shines. Today we’re introducing you to the new Saint Laurent Le 37 Bucket Bag, a simple yet sleek bucket bag that joins this season’s line-up.

The perfect size for every day, when done right, a bucket bag is a chic addition to have in your rotation, and this one is designed with function in mind. Easily toted via the bag’s top handle or carried with the removable and adjustable shoulder strap, the bag’s interior is secured with the emblematic YSL Cassandre Hook Closure. A daily hauler should be easy to grab and go, and that’s exactly what the Le 37 Bucket Bag provides. Crafted from shiny calfskin leather with overall dimensions of 7.9″ W x 9.8″ L x 6.3″ D and one interior zipped pouch, this bag is big enough to tote your necessities and then some (think a small water bottle and a book!). It’s finished with a suede lining and metal feet, which is a nice addition to a large everyday bag. Retail is $2,990 via Saint Laurent.
