PurseForum Roundup – July 2

Turquoise joys!

Good afternoon all, I hope everybody has been enjoying this warm summer weather! The only place I want to be is near a body of water, so this week’s round up is inspired by my poolside dreams! If you’re new to these roundups let me break it down for you. These roundups are made from a highly curated selection of photos by our tPF members of their very own bags! We find them while combing through tPF catching up on all the latest bag news. If you aren’t already a member, now is the time to join as it’s the best place to connect with other bag fans from all over the world. Come see what the community has to offer! Let’s get started…

Our first stop today is this Jodie, riding shotgun with our member chalintorn, who shared this snap in the “Car portraits” thread.

This Coach cutie was shared by our member Glttglam in the “Which COACH bag are you carrying today?” thread.

Up next is this little flap shared by our member FunBagz in the “Please post your *BLUE* Chanel items here!” thread. I love seeing Classics in fun colors.

I don’t know about you, but I live for a matchy-matchy moment and our member amacasa nailed it with this combo shared in the “Your Hermès in action!” thread.

Gotta love the beautiful colors of Balenciaga like this turquoise Day shared by our member Monz1987 in the “Which balenciaga bag are you wearing today? (2)” thread.

Last, but not least, is this amazing family photo shared by coloradolvr in the “And now for something a little different!” thread. Great collection and that Coppola is to die for!

If we’ve left you wanting more I definitely recommend the “What would you tell your younger self?” thread. It’s been fun to see what kind of advice all the seasoned handbag collectors would give, a lot of it is totally solid! Another interesting read through is the “Does the unboxing experience matter to you?” thread. Personally, I really enjoy a good unboxing as design is a huge interest of mine. I love to see all the little details and textures that designers create for this experience but at the end of the day it’s truly all about the bag for me. Well thank you all for tuning in, until next time!

Beautiful group pic from @coloradolvr. And that Balenciaga bag is just begging to be touched!? I love the candid, simple pictures. It always looks ridiculous when the pictures are overly staged. ? You don’t need to have your Loubs, your Birkin, your Chanel lip balm, your engagement ring, your Love bracelet, and your Mercedes key fob in the same frame.

But I mean, that makes for an interesting photo for any collector! It’s also just what kind of came to be with Instagram too

Justice

Meh. I think these kinds of pictures just look tacky. ????? Thankfully, I think that many Instagramers are moving away from that trend cause it’s so tone deaf. I know I enjoy more genuine or less obviously-staged content.

What is “tone death”?

Justice

Haha thank you! When I dictate Siri struggles with my accent sometimes! #secondlanguage #immigrant #proofreadtwicenexttime. ??

Heidi

I love everything about these! These posts are always beautifully staged and photographed! A nice, uplifting post of my fav color! ?
