We have made it through the week, friends! We know some of you have been struggling with severe weather this week, and we hope you and your loved ones are safe and warm. No matter where you are, we are glad you have joined us for this edition of the PurseForum Roundup. There is always a lot going on at tPF, and this week, we caught up with Proenza Schouler, Mulberry and more.
It’s been a while since we visited the busy Proenza Schouler subforum, and this week we found a gorgeous Christmas Reveal from Jennastar. Christmas may be over, but the color of this terrific bag will be in style long past winter. Susiequeued posted a concern about PS customer service that took quite an interesting turn in this thread. Also, if brown is more your style, you will love this luscious bag in stunning saddle from canyongirl.
This week’s winter weather called for a touch of color and a look straight ahead to spring, and we found the perfect antidote for the winter blues in the Massaccesi Handbags thread. Ludmilla’s pretty midi zip in plum looks to be a great choice for late winter, too, so if you are considering a purchase, this may be just the inspiration you need.
In Jewelry, Condor999 stopped the show in the Van Cleef and Arpels subforum with this gorgeous family portrait. If you are a fan of VCA and love a big big ring, you will love what tulip2 picked up. This gorgeous ring has a story, and we are sure you will not be disappointed.
Also in Van Cleef and Arpels, ShyShy was not shy when it came to sharing her stunning holiday baubles. The gorgeous crocodile Hermès Kelly Cut certainly is the perfect place to display her new ring and earrings, don’t you think?
We have been seeing quite a few Mulberry bags lately, but none have been as sharp as these two from libertygirl, who shared them in her “I couldn’t resist” thread. They make a sweet pair and certainly are irresistible. Right at press time, we found an unwrapping underway, so join us in checking in to see the progress in lzzbet’s Quick Reveal right here.
Regular Roundup readers know we so often find the best bags in the “cheating” threads – where members share their non-brand purchases with their pals in their favorite brand subforums. Mulberry fans happily cheat as much as any other group, and we found this absolutely wonderful Chloé hidden in plain sight in the Non-Mulberry purchases thread; Ser further reports that her leather care product was also a great success.
Last but certainly not least, be sure not to miss the fabulous new bags that have made their way into chloe-babe’s already incredible collection. You can catch the new additions right here!
On our way out, we also found this great eBay find from fivezero in the Rebecca Minkoff subforum. Savvy members know that there are always bargains to be had on the secondary marketplace if one knows where to look. This bag from 2008 was reported by fivezero to be in perfect condition, and that sure looks to be the case.
Eehlers also made a great score on an RM bag recently–perhaps you will be next.
Finally, this beautiful shot of early spring comes to us from Home & Garden’s Garden Photographs to Share thread. Shelby33 has been busy in her garden and even busier sharing some gorgeous flowers with us in this popular thread, so if you are feeling like a break from winterscapes, come in and get inspired!
Thanks so much for joining is for this last Roundup of January. We hope you are warm and safe, wherever you are, and we will be looking for you right here again next week. Have a great week!
