PurseForum Roundup – January 15

Good afternoon, lovely Roundup readers! It’s been a while since we last check in on the PurseForum, but please be assured that we have have missed you as much as you (hopefully) have missed us. It has been a busy couple of months, and we are very happy to be back. Our PurseForum members have been busy, of course, and we cannot wait to share some of the conversations we have listened in on in the last few weeks.

Chanel-Box-Collection

What better way can a purse lover start off the new year than with an enormous mountain of boxes from Chanel? We don’t have an answer that, so let’s open things up with clothefilly’s eyepopping photo of her Chanel collection, which starts her Bag Showcase thread off with quite a bang.

Chanel-Embroidered-Flap-Bag

This thread in the Bag Showcase subforum is still unfolding, but because we love you, we will leave this magnificent quilted flap right here for you to enjoy. The Bag Showcase is where our members share their collections and the stories behind them. Our members are talented photographers, as well as talented storytellers, so do visit the Bag Showcase to learn more about them and their amazing bag collections. Relatively new member Kelly Walther also started a showcase thread that is not to be missed, particularly if you are a fan of Longchamp!

Green-Chanel-Bags

We love Chanel, and Clothesfilly’s thread got us hankering for more reveals from Karl and the gang, so we hot-footed it over to the Chanel Subforum to see if our members had done any shopping. BoyBags has been very busy and posted a triple reveal–how gorgeous is this partial family photo? Be sure to visit the reveal thread to see more.

Pastel-Chanel-Bags

Speaking of family photos, LoveHeart added a new pale pink bag to her collection and treated us all to this wonderful group shot in her reveal thread. Ktoo381n is contemplating her next purchase–a marvelous dilemma indeed. Fortunately, we have plenty of members ready to jump in with suggestions.

Kate-Spade-Collection

Kate Spade never fails to deliver sharp and stylish bags at a very accessible price point. The brand also knows how to throw in a little fun, and that’s a combination that is irresistible to our PurseForum family. The Kate Spade forum is a busy one; while catching up this week we found this terrific group shot from DP PURSE FAN, who has quite an eye for a bargain and a nice bag! If you are considering a purchase, be sure to visit this subforum for news on outlet stock, and pay special attention to the Promotions thread for special sales and discount codes.

Mens-Designer-Bags

Another collection thread caught our eye this week, this time in Jimmy Choo. Ujili added a stunning blue Duke Tote to an already impressive bag family last month and was kind enough to share this photo with us. These collection shots never fail to inspire us, and we love a peek into our members’ closets, too!

Valentino-Rockstud-Scuffs

Uh oh. It’s not all joy and reveals on the PurseForum, friends. This week in Valentino Shoes, hotstar16 shared some heartbreak and pictures of her new Valentino Rockstuds. Seems like a little moisture and Valentino didn’t mix well in this case, and hotstar16 turned to her PurseForum family for opinions and support. What do you think of this Rockstud nightmare?

Hermes-David-Yurman-Bracelets

If you have been with us for a while, you know we love stacks, thanks to our dedicated stack fans in the Jewelry Box. This breathtaking ensemble belonging to Tanya1729 is from the David Yurman stack thread, and like so many stacks, works well because of the variety–this time, a snappy Clic Clac from Hermès paired with two classic Yurman bracelets.

Jade-Bangel

Regulars here also know that we love to stop into the incredibly busy jade threads from time to time. Our jade lovers are a lively group of knowledgable aficionados who have become friends and enchanted many of us with their collections. This pretty bracelet comes to us from Junkenpo, who has shared many splendid pieces over the years. If you love jade, or if you know nothing about it, plan on visiting one of our jade threads–you just may fall in love!

Cauliflower-Pizza

That’s it for the first PurseForum Roundup of 2016. We are very glad to be back and looking forward to seeing you right here next week. We hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and, of course, we wish you all the best (rather belatedly) for 2016. In the meantime, have a pizza, courtesy of manons88!
