Happy February! And Happy Friday. This week crawled for us, we hope yours was better. Friday is upon us and that means it’s time to eavesdrop on our PurseForum Family and see what has been going on this week.

Warm weather awaits, we promise! This lovely look ahead at spring comes to us from the Wardrobe Showcase, where Mimmy’s stylebook is up and ready for warm weather. The Showcase is part of the Accessories subforum, which also houses The Wardrobe, where you can find hundreds of threads on shopping, coats, and suggestions on what to wear to any occasion, from a basketball game to a week in the tropics.

Our Playground boasts plenty to keep you busy even if purses are not on your front burner. Whether you are thinking about a new job, a new house or a new furry friend, we have you covered. This week, we paid a visit to Arts and Crafts and discovered that we have quite a number of talented quilters in our midst. This beautiful baby quilt comes from Madamfifi, who was kind enough to share a pair of spectacular quilts with us.

Arts and Crafts is a great place to get ideas on that next winter project! Another popular subforum in General Discussion this week is Television and Cinema, and if you are gearing up for the Oscars, this is a great place to join with others who are ramping up for the big day.

We thought it would be fun to do a round robin and see how many bags we could find in our action threads. We headed to Kate Spade first and found this lovely satchel from halobear in the Which Kate Spade Are You Carrying Today thread.

We also love to scout in Mansur Gavriel, and this week we were not disappointed. We caught up with the Mod Shot thread (where our members gloriously model their bags) and found CEC.LV4eva’s fabulous tote! Mansur Gavriel fans will find lots of intel in this subforum; our members are quick to share their thoughts on quality, customer service and, of course, when and where to buy. If you know you this brand, you know you have to be quick to purchase when the time is right, and our members are there to help.

The Goyard St. Louis is one of the most popular bags around, and this yellow number is quite a beauty. While not technically an action thread, Balen.girl shared this great tote in her reveal, and our members appreciated the color, style and her choice of cute bag charm. (Those who are interested in Goyard may also enjoy this thread on Goyard’s personalizations.)

The Prada Saffiano tote is a powerhouse purse from a brand that has been around forever. This lovely classic black bag is courtesy of flightoffancy’s reveal in our Prada subforum

Sometimes it is all about the shoes, and the New To You Louboutins thread is a great place to find wonderful new shoes at a fast clip. These lovely pumps belong to Kalos, who shared them with other fans of Christian Louboutin in this popular thread.

We wandered into Saint Laurent to see if anybody has picked up anything interesting, and we were not disappointed. CoachCruiser found a fabulous clutch with wonderful detailing. Of course, we are traditionalists and love the YSL logo even though the “Y” is long gone from the brand’s official moniker. Stylin76 also got a new bag, and you can see her new Sac De Jour up close and personal right here. By the way, CoachCruiser also found a stunning pair of shoes you won’t want to miss. ClaireOlivia is contemplating a purchase, so if you have any thoughts on the brand, you can join the conversation right here.

Thank you for visiting us; it’s always a pleasure to bring you the happenings on the PurseForum, and we love having a reason to prowl the halls over there and fill you in. We will see you next week, and in the meantime, have a wonderful week ahead.

P.S. Please consider supporting our small, bag-loving team by clicking our links before shopping or checking out at your favorite online retailers like Amazon, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, or any of the listed partners on our shop page. We truly appreciate your support!

Looking for some direction on where I could find a style archive link, book or other reference materials for researching luxury bags for my resale business. So many designers and styles and finishes to learn. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
