PurseForum Roundup – February 19

We are well into February, friends, and we very much appreciate your visits and kind comments. This week, we dropped into Tory Burch, Bottega Veneta, and lost track of time in Television and Cinema, where we realized we have a LOT of catching up to do! Get comfortable and catch up with all of this and more, and enjoy this latest edition of the PurseForum Roundup!

Inside-Bottega-Veneta-Bag

We don’t quite know what has been happening in Bottega Veneta, but fairy godmothers are afoot, and they have been busy. Usually, on the PurseForum, that means that members are directing one another to their “holy grail” bags on the secondary market or in their local boutiques, and we are seeing some lovely reveals in this very special thread. Indiaink revealed this special Cervo, and Roundup regulars know how much we appreciate a peek inside our members’ bags!  Moi et mes sacs scored a beautiful new bag as well, in a fantastic color and versatile style.

Bottega-Veneta-Leather-Straw-Tote

Last but of course not least, our fellow tote lovers will absolutely love diane278’s new tote, the perfect bag for the spring temperatures that are on their way for many of our members.

Tory-Burch-What's-In-Her-Bag

This week we seemed to see Tory Burch everywhere we turned, and when we spotted TB buttons on a fellow diner’s coat tonight, we took the hint and jumped into the Tory Burch subforum for a visit. The brand new (and very active) “What’s in your Tory Burch Bag” thread was a great omen, and being tote fiends, we loved this peek into eviexo’s cavernous bag.

Also in Tory Burch, smileydimples, while new the brand, made an impressive debut with some fabulous new purchases. We are once again shamelessly all about the tote, Roundup Readers, so feel free to share your favorites in the comments. By the way, if you are looking at these purses and thinking about coordinating flats, we have your flat-fix right here in the Photos of Tory Burch Reva Flats thread.

Adult-Coloring-Book

We love bags, but we would be remiss if we did not direct you to our vast selection of non-fashion subforums, friends. Our Television and Cinema thread is a great place to get ready for the Oscars, as well as discuss things like the final series of Downton Abbey (who else is rooting for Lady Edith?), and in our Mob Wives thread, our members bid goodbye to everyone’s favorite, Big Ang.

Our picture today comes from the Arts and Crafts subforum’s most popular thread at the moment, the Adult Coloring & Books thread, where our members share their creations in what is undoubtedly the most calming spot on our forum/ Rouge H went regal for her latest work, but this thread is full of lots of ideas on how to focus your chi and zen out with color. Take it from us: it works!

Christian-Dior-Diorama-bag

When we ran across labellusting’s reveal in Dior this week, all we could say was, “Hello, Gorgeous!” This Diorama is what designer love is made of, and it’s just the kind of reveal we love to share. If you loved that, you will love this! Another Diorama reveal from Prada Prince, and it is safe to say that this bag is definitely gaining ground with shoppers.

Christian-Dior-Lady-Dior-Bag

We still had another “Hello, Gorgeous” left for this wonderful Lady Dior that found a new home with Havanese 28 this month. This powerhouse and timeless bag is a favorite among our members; we never get tired of seeing the Lady Dior, and fortunately we get to see plenty on the PurseForum.

Kate-Spade-Wedding-Clutch

In Kate Spade this week, we found a nice reveal of a clutch we have so far only seen in print. Longtime member (and soon to be a Mrs.) SpeedyJC shared this purchase, which came with a couple of flaws (and, fortunately, a happy ending). Stop in to send the bride-to-be good wishes and see how this story turns out.

We hope you enjoyed your visit with us today. We enjoy the opportunity to bring you some of the best of what’s going on at the PurseForum; for every thread we bring you, there are fifty more with more bags, accessories and fun conversations to share. We will be back with more next week, and in the meantime, we sincerely wish you all a great weekend and week ahead.

Homemade-Eclairs

P.S. What the heck…why not have an eclair (thanks bagsncakes).
