My Favorite Bag(s) from Prada’s New Spring/Summer 2026 Collection

Prada or nada, forever.

The title is self-explanatory. My first foray into the world of premier designer bags was with Prada, and for that reason, my pull toward the brand is among the strongest I have. It’s deep-rooted. It brings me back to what started it all for me in the bag world, and for that, I am forever thankful to Prada. Additionally, it’s a plus that the bags (and other items!) remain some of my personal favorites.

The new year has just begun, and Prada is ushering it in with its latest collection, Spring/Summer 2026.

Past Meets Present

The new collection melds the past and present, as Prada does so well. Do you know which bag speaks to me most? The Passage. The distinct shape and ultra ladylike feel are right on trend, mixing leather with classic Prada Re-Nylon. Prada continues to play off its roots, updating its bags in the best possible way, and this feels classically Prada with a hint of modernity.

Prada Nylon is where my love for the brand first began, and I will always be drawn to anything Re-Nylon. I do wish I had a photo of myself walking around campus at The Ohio State University as a baby freshman, carrying my Prada Nylon Messenger bag.

That would show you how deep my love for bags runs, and how well my Prada bag paired with everything and anything, including my swim team sweats.

More from Prada Spring/Summer 2026

There is far more to explore in this new collection. Prada’s bag offering has also evolved to lean into a more utilitarian feel, which I find both functional and fashionable. This is reflected in both the Explore bag and the new Route Bag.

The collection is rounded out with ready-to-wear and accessories that bring a luxe activewear feel, which again speaks to me. The campaign brings the collection to life, showcasing what is both very cohesive and wearable. As for me, if only I had won that $2 billion Christmas lotto drawing, I’d be buying every single one of the items below.

one of your favourite bags is a 1270$ pouch that looks like a free dustbag you get with every shoe purchase?

I never claimed that what I like makes sense! I have a cotton dustbag-like bag from Loewe that I use in my larger bags and LOVE! The majority of my purchasing decisions come down to being very practical, but I also always come back to how much I love fashion for the fun aspect. And the prices, across the board, are high now and not at all my favorite part of any of this!

Prada is a big advertiser for Purseblog… connect the dots.

This all looks like leftover junk

Are the bags supposed to look dirty?

Sandy

I like the sneakers, have a pair and they are great! The other stuff not so much. I have to agree with Edia, a dust bag for $1270.00 is embarrassing.
