The early 2020s saw Louis Vuitton shift its focus away from classic Monogram canvas toward leather designs, leaving logo lovers wondering whether the iconic print was taking a back seat. But Monogram never disappeared—and by the mid-2020s, it is SO back. In full force, too.
The recent surge in Monogram bags aligns with fashion’s continued love for nostalgia and logo-driven style, fueled by the ongoing Y2K revival and return to maximalism. With luxury demand softening amid ongoing price increases, the Maison is also leaning into its signature canvas pieces, which remain not only iconic but also far more accessible than its leather bags.
Thanks in part to Nicolas Ghesquière’s modern vision, Louis Vuitton Monogram continues to evolve while staying true to its heritage. And while timeless favorites like the Louis Vuitton Speedy see a renaissance, a new generation of Monogram bags breathes new life into the Maison’s timeless Monogram. This season, three new bags join the Monogram family, and there’s no time like the present to fall back in love with LV Monogram.
Let’s take a look!
Louis Vuitton Lineup
New to the LV family this season comes the Lineup bag—designed to take you from work to weekend and beyond, its spacious interior is roomy enough to hold an iPad or even a laptop. Further enhancing its functionality, the Lineup features a top zip and an interior pocket for securing smaller items.
Plus, the strap can easily transition from shoulder or crossbody wear—ideal for a heavier weighted bag when you’re carrying more items. The outer zip pocket comes with a gold ring, allowing customization with a charm or key ring.
Louis Vuitton CarryAll East/West
First introduced for the Spring 2023 season, the Louis Vuitton CarryAll immediately caught our eye thanks to its chic details like a leather hangtag with a gold Monogram LV, which elevated the feel of classic Monogram Canvas. A sleeker, more elevated alternative to the Neverfull, the CarryAll was a hit, and now it’s been given an even chicer update, arriving in an on-trend east/west shape.
Heritage details like the same hangtag as the original lend well to the bag’s slouchy, over-the-shoulder appeal (though it can also be worn crossbody). What differs from the original is that the east/west version has a top zip with an exaggerated zipper pull, adding to the bag’s stylistic appeal.
Louis Vuitton Pochette Hills
Ideal for day-to-night carry, the Louis Vuitton Hills Pochette is not new to the LV lineup; we’ve seen it in past seasons arrive in novelty iterations like shearling and Monogram Denim. Now, the simple yet chic slouchy, square silhouette arrives in Monogram, evoking a retro appeal and a youthful energy that will make you feel nostalgic for the early 2000s. Trimmed with smooth cowhide, the interior is small but will hold your daily essentials.

Yawn…..
😂
They’re all ugly
Agree!
I like the Lineup bag. It looks like a great everyday bag and the zipper is a huge plus.
Looks like the slouchy with a front pocket.
I don’t understand the Muppet Face zipper on that line up bag
I love them! These look classic and won’t be dated in a few years like most designer bags.
I’ll never buy one but it seems the relatively low pricing will attract a bunch of customers.
