It’s been a while since the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2016 collection was shown. When the bags hit the online store, we updated you on the entire Louis Vuitton Cruise collection with prices and your opinions were mixed. One of the most notable prints from the collection is the Aqua Print in Epi Leather that was seen on the runway and has been added to an assortment of Louis Vuitton items.
The print is designed to appear as if you’re looking down into a pool, seeing the crystal blue water with the light of the sun catching it. The play of light on water translates to a bold print atop Epi leather which matches the California vibe of the entire collection. Living in South Florida now, this print would be perfect for casual days and steamy nights in Miami Beach. But this print isn’t for everyone. From the classic Alma to the Petit Malle to small leather goods, check out the Louis Vuitton Aqua Epi Print collection from Cruise 2016.

There’s two sides to this kind of design. At first you like, ugh, why would they design something like this when they could do so much better? But on the other hand, you’re like yes, thank god-something expensive that I’m not gonna lust after.
For some reason, I ¨get¨ it on the Petit Malle, but not the others. Weird.
I agree. it actually works really well in the box format. Maybe the strong lines and hardware balance it out. Others are “meh”.
Colors quite beautiful but I’m not in a position to spend so much on something SO seasonal. These are for people with MUCH deeper pockets than mine!
I agree too. Beautiful but I’m not dropping that much on something that will scream “dated”in a year. Expect to see a lot of these on resellers.
I love this collection… all of the bags
It’s so strange, I both love the bags and hate them at the exact same time. I love LV and think they have beautiful bags, but these just feel too loud. That said, if I saw one on the streets of Paris I bet I would have a different take entirely.
I love that Epi Twist MM, and I’d buy it if it weren’t so ridiculously priced. I mean, really, $4100 for an MM?
These handbags and accessories are ugly.
I like these loud designs, but only in SLGs.
I love the aqua print
Love the Petit Malle, but why is it SO small? :/
There’s a “soft” version of the Petit Malle that’s a bit bigger and works like a crossbody messenger bag:)
Really?? Thanks! I’ll definitely be looking that up
I like it on the wallet and card holder.
I have to say this is the most unbecoming bag from LV I’ve ever seen! I don’t have to worry about spending my money on something that looks like this!!
I do like these… but I’m afraid I’d get bored of them. That’s me and prints though.
I don’t mind it…. the only way this is going to work is in a high end bag… a less expensive line would just scream ‘less expensive’ but saying that, it’s just going to get old too quickly. it will look dated fast…. i like the idea of the over head of the pool but graphically it’s not achieved.
